Expert tips. Program toyota hilux 2022 all keys lost smart key with autel IM608

Good day. In this video we will program a new key to a hilux 2022 smart key system, as all keys are lost. We will use the autel IM608 with APB112 simulater key, to get the ignition on, then we will program a new key. Enjoy.

Hi Buddy, So today I had access to the 2023 Toyota Hilux Legend. Used a Lishi to open the driver side door. Once the door opened the alarm was then activated but silenced after 1-2 minutes. I then connected my Autel 608 Pro2 and for some unexplained reason I was getting the error message "Cannot Establish Communication with ECU". I had the hazards lights ON and tried Auto Selection, Manual Selection > Immo Status Scan, Control Unit, & Hot functions with no success. Could not also auto detect VIN. The 608 was properly connected. One thing that I have noticed was that the battery icon showed 0.0 volts. I have checked battery voltage with a multimeter =12.9 volts. There's just no communication. Do you perhaps have an idea what my challenge could be. Thank you.

Good day. First check all the fuses. Sometimes the obd2 port fuse is blown or missing. Check on the obd2 port if you have power on pin 16. If there is no power, just connect a piece of wire from the battery to that point. Please be very sure it is pin 16. I have done this on a lot of vehicles, as sometimes the power might fail to a wiring problem or faulty connection. On any OBD2 port you should always have constant power on pin16. The OBDSTAR F101 will do the trick. It is capable to add or delete smart keys, but not all keys lost. This machine is only for toyota. s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_EwRq1Yr You can also use any main OBDSTAR machine.

Hello. It does not matter if it is the 2.4 or 2.8, manual or auto. The immo box works the same, but it is for europe models. If the key looks the same, it will program.

dont need the code. enter immo data and back up eeprom than add a key. take the pcb out of shell and try different model. 4a transponder.

4A not on this model, it is A8 key. No need to disassemble pcb even in 4A models. Just backup eeprom then the machine can retrieve password from saved data.

On toyota it is ok. on bmw nissan and merc not. I have programmed as low as 10.5v on toyota. Thank you for your concern.👍
