Very good video. It will be helpful for many Mom's. I just wanted to share my experience. My child too had delay. My in laws said it's natural for boy to talk late. He is interested in playing that's y he is not talking. Myself busy with household works, also spent less time with him. I went for assessment by my friends compulsion at 2.8 yrs. There instead of doing assessment on him, they asked me the details about him that too I was unaware of the milestones that they need to accomplish by that time. He named colours animals in the flash cards. He responded to name. (I also did the mistake of showing flash cards of fruits, vegetables teaching. That teaching once they enter kindergarten teachers will do ). They said speech is almost appropriate but little less by 3 months. But I had an inner feeling that something is wrong. Nobody agreed to me saying don't compare kids. Those kids are too smart that's y they speak fast. He is alright. My husband was also not ready to accept my feelings. So time passed. I joined him in play school. No improvement. It's a false notion that kids begin to speak once they go to school. At 3.5 yrs I started therapy in another center searching in Google reviews. But I couldn't continue long as it was too expensive there. Almost 45 Mim session 1000rs. It helped a lot. But couldn't afford beyond 10 months. I came to get an idea of things. I started to work at home. I watch CZcams videos related to this. Improvement is there.... There are many people around us to misguide us. Early intervention is best. Some people do the stamping of the child being Autistic. All those kids with speech delay are not Autistic.

@@sailajamaheswaran1659 Each child is unique. Consult a good developmental paediatrician who will assess the child and suggest a therapist if your kid requires. The area he or she is weak or the underlying issue will be assessed by the speech pathologist. They will let you know how to work and achieve each goal. Bcoz for each issue like stammering , tongue tie, autistic etc the mode of treatment varies though all comes under the same title speech delay.
