  • In today's video, we have always wanted to try this restaurant at Disney Springs called Paddlefish. It is in the big paddle boat on the water and also is themed after a show boat cruise. This restaurant at Disney Springs is very large and considered fine dining. They are known for their seafood. Inside, it is all themed nautical, paddlefish, and paddle boat. There are several dining areas as well as some outdoor seating. From our seats, there were some pretty awesome views. The menu isn’t too big but they have some top-notch choices. We got the clam chowder, the linguine with clams, the stuffed cod, and then some cheesecake. It also came with rolls. Everything turned out great and tasted really good. The food didn’t take long at all the get. It did take awhile to get our drinks and the check but that was really the only negatives. They do offer a Disney Annual Passholder discount. Overall, it was a good spot to eat at Disney Springs and it was nice to check out the inside and eat in a boat. If you are looking for a restaurant at Disney Springs, try the Paddlefish.
    Stay tuned for another video coming soon. Thanks so much for watching! God Bless!!!

    Congratulations Tember for the end of school year! All the food looked delicious especially the linguini with clams. I thought that the quality of the food was well worth the cost. Thanks for sharing

    I think the lobster corn dogs are served upstairs in the open bar area as an appetizer. Downstairs as a starter te fried green tomatoes are terrific. Great bloody Mary’s too.

    Thank you for a very nice tour of this restaurant. I am sorry you never had the opportunity to see the original restaurant....the Empress Lilly....named after Disney's wife, Lillian. This was an elegant ship. As soon as you entered you felt as though you were aboard the Titanic. The servers wore white gloves so that will tell you what type of atmosphere it was. No sneaks...no shorts. All guests were nicely dressed. The food was deee-lish and the presentation was lovely. And yes, you had to have a reservation. Shame the lifestyle changed for I believe you would have loved it!

    Great video,food looked very good. I'm curious is there a app just for Disney Springs?

    • @thealtemlife
      @thealtemlife  Před 21 dnem +1

      Thank you! There isn’t an app just for Disney Springs. The Disney World app has all of Disney Springs in it. However, Disney Springs does have its own website that has everything on there!

    What is a "Trading Pin?"

    • @thealtemlife
      @thealtemlife  Před 21 dnem

      Good question! Disney has trading pins that you can purchase and trade throughout the parks. It’s a really fun thing to do. The pins range from different resorts to characters to other Disney designs. You can keep them and put them on a pin board or you can trade them with others!

      @@thealtemlife Thanks...last time I was at Disney was back in the "Old Days" and didn't recall them having "Trading Pins" back then.

    I don't know if you informed them your drinks weren't on the bill. Normally I would tell them but no way if you waited over 20 minutes for your check.

    • @billredding2000
      @billredding2000 Před 21 dnem

      Even so, I would tell them. IMO, it's a matter of "personal honor" if you will, which is not seen much nowadays.

      I did inform them and I mentioned in the video that I did and they told me they didn’t charge me since it took awhile.

    • @thealtemlife
      @thealtemlife  Před 21 dnem +1

      We definitely told them and they told us that since it took so long, they weren’t going to charge us. We will always choose to tell them also!

    • @philleotta7201
      @philleotta7201 Před 21 dnem

      Personal honor? Waiting another 20 minutes for a revised check for drinks? Common sense.

    • @billredding2000
      @billredding2000 Před 20 dny

      @@philleotta7201 Yes, but I can see that concept is completely wasted on someone like you (not surprised though). "Personal Honor" meaning doing the right thing even if the other person doesn't -- setting a high (and moral) standard of behavior for yourself regardless of what "standards" others may have (not much, nowadays, as you know).
      But please, carry on...
