I’m watching this with my beautiful vizsla dog laying in my arms. Vizslas are amazing dogs which deserve all of everything they can get and always give them lots of love.
We absolutely adore our Vizsla. Yes, she needs a ton of exercise in the day, but the result is her being incredibly cuddly and affectionate in the evenings. Cannot imagine not having her in our home!
They are amazing dogs. I got in a motorcycle accident and was in the hospital for a few months. My Vizsla when crazy and super happy when I came home. She has to follow my all the time now and check on me.
These really are beautiful dogs, we have two and they are simply the best companions, but its true that they need a lot of exercise. They also get really excited when they know they are going out for a walk spinning around and play fighting...they are fun to be around.
Just heard of this breed a few minutes ago, and now I can't stop looking for information on them.. They are so adorable.
I have a Visla, I think. He looks like the dog from this video, only taller. And he's porked out since we found him. He's a stray.
He's been Neutered and already knows a few tricks. Such a sweet thing.

Vizsla are great dogs. Loved mine to pieces. Crazy dogs but loyal to the very end. Don’t get one unles you own land mine used every bit of the 10 acres I lived on. It wasn’t enough.

I have a vizsla and she is the most sweetest dog, she also grew up with a cat
I love my Vizsla!! I wouldn't recommend one if you plan to leave him or her alone for more than 4 hours a day. This breed is miserable when it's master isn't around. We will always have a Vizsla! Love this breed!
Both my Vizslas are considerably more muscular than the Viz in this vid, not over weight at all, just bulkier muscles. They do get a lot of exercise with our large yard and access to off leash trails. Great dogs but only for people with a big yard and active lifestyle.
I noticed the same - mine is more muscular , too.
Some are skinnier than others. But this looks like a young female, so they may fill out a little bit. Mine is slightly more weighty, but he still looks very lean. The vet has said that he’s not underweight though, it’s just how he looks.
I have a four-year-old vizla he’s super active but he also thinks he’s a lap dog 😂

Yep. Even the eyes. That's one of the big reasons why I got one. Great dogs, but they need attention, which is no prob w/ me, because when I take her out to exercise, it's rare when she doesn't attract people who ask what breed she is.
VERY stunning looking, regal dogs, and if you or the family are thinking of getting one, treat it right and it'll be the best dog you could get.

I have what i believe to be a viszla mix, the only part thats diff then the dog in the video is my girl has an upward turned tail and has the copper brown pattern in brindle. I truly adore this breed but they love fur hats, fur fur fur!

I just find out I have a vizla, thanks for the info.... around the neighborhood she always run cats and chickens, not to hurt them but to play with them (just that they don't know).... powerful dog....

Where I live in New York there are about 5-10 vizslas. They are so sweet and gorgeous! They always lick me when I walk past them!
My poor vizsla. My dog get really lonely. one time we placed our bunny next to him and he started licking her ears :3 Then our bunny scratched him -.- My bunny is really mean to him.

I get out of my room, she decides to stay in my room and look at her facebook stuff
Me: *sees my dog* Hey princes- *sees that she ripped up the canary chords* Daddy is gonna blow up on you Princess! *as I pick up and clean the chords and keep them up in a shelf where the canary was*
MOM! PRINCESS TORE UP THE CANARY CHORDS!
My mom a couple weeks later: *installs a baby gate at the stairs* (where my room and the canary is)
Hungarian breeds tend to be more robust - this almost looks like a greyhound.
Please do one about the Danish/Swedish farmdog.
Im getting one in the spring of 2013. They are awesome, quite rare dogs but very popular here in Sweden.

Why is this dog so strikingly similar to the Weimeraner? I am beginning to think the Vizsla was the foundation breed for the Weimeraner..
Good video except the breed should be more muscular with bone. There is not a breed problem with hip dysplasia unless you purchase from other a club active breeder. The Vizsla Club of America has been a world leader in hip radiographs. After AKC breed recognition in November 1960, the first thing the Vizsla Club of America did was require all bloodstock to be cleared of hip dysplasia before breeding. At that time 50% of dogs were dysplastic. By breeding only hip cleared dogs that rate is about 7%. Lol @ 0:43, there's no such thing as "magyar tribe", we're called Hungarians :D We're not a "tribe". Nice vid tho.
If only this dog was a good guard dog... Would be so perfect... I saw an article that said these dogs are prone to even help the burglars! Choosing a dog breed is so hard... The German Shepherd is my favorite, but it might stink too much and shed a lot, the vizsla is not a proper guard dog, the beagle destroys things, the Boston terrier farts a lot and is prone to have health issues, the American Staffordshire Terrier seems to be too aggressive around guests that might come to the place, the Husky sheds a lot, the labrador is always a mess, the Staffordshire bull terrier is like a mini american Stafford... What i need is a dog that doesn't stink, is friendly, but can be a good guard dog, and that doesn't shed to much, preferably not being a poodle or a breed similar to it... Any recommendations? (I consider the german shepherd a lot, but the fact of having to keep it outdoors bothers me cuz i want the dog to have full comfort, and to be able to stay with me whenever he wants to)

Johnny P. They all are in almost every fact you named, except for guarding you're house (or whatever you live in) But don't let this be a dissapointment, almost all dogs (In my region) aren't real guard dogs.
