Kaido’s voice actor is really bringing this monster to life to the point where I root for kaido sometimes Lmfaoo. Love his voice and having luffy stay silent was such a great move made the scene come alive that my boy ain’t even f*cking touch him. That’s all I screamed this episode.

I've been watching One piece from dvds and in volumes back when I was young 11 years old my older cousin would buy them he's 19 years old at that time and now I am 28 and he's 36, how time passed by. I still watched these.
Luffy picked up on using conquerors to fight so fast compared to the others. Almost like the training allowed him to utilize it quickly, or it simply comes naturally to him. Like it’s no different than fighting with his will like he has done since episode one. Used to wonder how far away luffy was from trading blows with the baddest of the sea in base form. Glad to finally see it.
Bruh Kaido has to go down in history as Luffy's biggest hurdle. Because not only did he one tap Luffy in Gear 4 when they first fought, but did that while being in base form himself. Luffy had to use 4 different power ups (Advanced Armament, Advanced Conquerors, Voice of all Things and Awakening) to beat Kaido who mind you was fatigued, had fought multiple opponents, all while holding up an entire Island. Luffy also lost 3 different times in that fight, was saved by Heart Pirates once and second time because of his Awakening and even then, Luffy barely won against Kaido. Kaido is HIM
The animation is sublime, I am speechless that there are people out here that think it's bad. One Piece is just throwing us fans amazing content week after week
0:57-1:26 It is so crazy seeing this. It reminds me of the Roger vs. Whitebeard Fight but only more serious. It goes to show how close Luffy is getting to the level. Even after seeing Kaido's reaction and reacting by using his own Advanced Conquerors to counter is crazy to me. He actually had to get serious and take Luffy as a threat. You also notice this glow on Zoro, and Kaido takes him more seriously and as a threat. It also shows Luffy and Zoro's willpower level compared to Kaido, as Conquerors apparently is tied to one's willpower. We all know Luffy, for instance, has some strong ass willpower! Lol. Luffy isn't using Gear 4 in this scene, either. By the way, I also think that because Law saw this, he will understand Luffy's significance in taking on these guys. Not that he hasn't already, but I think he will actually see how strong Luffy is and how capable he can be. I think that's why Oda wanted to show that.

What I saw: a boar, a leopard, black screen with a red circle in the middle, different coloured auras, a diamond and different coloured lightening strikes and beams.
It's funny but Luffy's Battle IQ is very high but his regular IQ is low. This allowed him to pick things up by observing things and putting pieces of different skills together. In this scene, Kaido already weaponized his Conqueror's armament in the form of a dragon around his Bagua while Luffy has no form yet making it shapeless light and as he concentrates it just becomes channeled into his fist. For Manga readers we know why it's bright light but as for the scenes animation overall impact, it was well put together.
The music is fuckin awesome , but the sound they played while he came back for the second time , is amazing.. I’ve never enjoyed it this much until 1028 when Luffy truly figures out Advanced Conquerer’s Haki. After hearing him say “ the Color of the Supreme King” , one piece and Luffy just leveled up big time. Also, Gear 5 is gonna be insane and I think he had to unlock and understand the Advanced Conqueror’s Haki before he could fully awaken his fruit. I think from here on, he’s gonna stop and brutally beat everyone besides Red Haired. I don’t know how the series will end completely, but this is what I’m guessing.

Ohh! I finally understood it. I watched one piece's all episodes and readed the manga but I never understood how luffy coated his arm/body with conqueror or ryuo. I thought conqueror haki and ryuo was the same thing but now I understood they was whole different things. When luffy launched kaido's kanabo back he infused his leg with conqueror's haki and in the 1:25 part he infused conqueror's haki and ryuo (AKA Flow Of Haki) into his arms launching the Kaido away.
If the episode now had had a better emphasis on showing the swing and then the impact... it could have been one of the greatest anime moments. An they deliver? Swirling, Dragon Ball still frames :D

i was amazing luffy one vs one kaido when both were exausted. but each held back techniques like luffys gear 4 and kaidos drunken fist style which he only uses against those he takes seriously and he didnt even use it against oden

The biggest example I can give is this scene from the video above, it's very different from the manga The latest events like Chopper breaking free from Queen's blow doesn't happen in the manga either. And many other things they did differently, like in the manga Law and Kid are the ones who knock down Big Mom, with Kid throwing her so high that Law throws a rock and Big Mom can't do anything to be saved. In the anime, she manages to hold on, Zoro leaves his position putting the plane at risk and cuts and knocks her down and spits blood, in the manga he keeps cutting Prometheus and gorges blood. Even Prometheus dives underwater to save Big Mom which is a script hole since his weakness is WATER, but in the manga this scene doesn't exist.
What confused me about gear 5 is that he didnt seem to “not touch” kaido with attacks. Like he just said eh fuck conquerers haki I got this now. But at the same time the haki lightning was coming off of him so idk wtf was goin on with that

They really should NOT have had the flashbacks to his prison training here. It gives people the impression he's using the advanced armament Haki here when he's using advanced Conqueror's Haki.

i was amazing luffy one vs one kaido when both were exausted. but each held back techniques like luffys gear 4 and kaidos drunken fist style which he only uses against those he takes seriously and he didnt even use it against oden

The biggest example I can give is this scene from the video above, it's very different from the manga
The latest events like Chopper breaking free from Queen's blow doesn't happen in the manga either.
And many other things they did differently, like in the manga Law and Kid are the ones who knock down Big Mom, with Kid throwing her so high that Law throws a rock and Big Mom can't do anything to be saved.
In the anime, she manages to hold on, Zoro leaves his position putting the plane at risk and cuts and knocks her down and spits blood, in the manga he keeps cutting Prometheus and gorges blood.
Even Prometheus dives underwater to save Big Mom which is a script hole since his weakness is WATER, but in the manga this scene doesn't exist.
Imagine if Marco saw Luffy and Kaido's haki clash and got a flashback of Whitebeard and Roger's haki clash

What confused me about gear 5 is that he didnt seem to “not touch” kaido with attacks. Like he just said eh fuck conquerers haki I got this now. But at the same time the haki lightning was coming off of him so idk wtf was goin on with that
With conqueror haki he attack without touching his enemy and with advenced armament haki he destroyed kaido form from inside , luffy just combined these 2 types of haki with bajrang gun
