    Love your work mate, I was just wondering if you could go step by step talking about each tactic that you use to fabricate your spools e.g using your level and what you’re using it for etc, cheers mate

      The only issue with that is id need to show it in real time to have enough time to explain what im doing, but ill take that onboard for the future

  • @osianmeilyr89
    @osianmeilyr89 Před 4 lety +1

    I guess by grinding after tacking you get an even space to weld after squaring up. So if you prep a pipe then tack it to find the pipe out of square then you have to grind the space anyway

    You have the fabrication down to a fine art and the welding is on point as well, can you say more about your welding procedures and if your welds get tested etc MPI ?

    • @ARCONEWELDING
      @ARCONEWELDING  Před 4 lety +1

      i try to stick to the fabrication sides because there are better welding tutorials out there, but 10% or so get ndt tested

    I really enjoyed this video ime a pipe welder myself mainly small bore up to 4in stainless and mild in a range of schedules for chemical and gas occasionally ile get a bit of 6in but never biger than that looks like what your doing is for water ? Also ime not allowed to tack anything to the outside of my pipe for turning i have to struggle lol or do it positional but all of my welding is tig and mma 👍

    • @ARCONEWELDING

    Man, do you make it look easy. It is clear you put a lot of thought into every task before you do it. I love all of the tools you have fabricated to save time and turn out a better product.
    Question: Do you have to get all of the materials from a supply room or is everything pre-cut and brought to you?

    • @ARCONEWELDING
      @ARCONEWELDING  Před 4 lety

      I get the drawing and make a cut list and give it to the saw guy to cut, then i collect my fittings from the storage area and collect my cut pipe

    Man you are such an excellent Pipe-fitter Welder/Fabricator...
    What most impressive is how you often do things so fast with an impressive finish and quality, you are working from a great environment and I must admit I was a little disappointed to see you take unnecessary short-cuts and engage in risky behaviour to do this task, this could of cost you or could cost one of your viewers substantial time off work if something goes wrong, injury, which ruins your and their greatest asset, Remember what is best is your ability/potential to make money... don’t gamble with that,
    Please display the task done safer terms next time you have the tools/equipment/faculties and knowledge to do this so no saving 20 minutes is a luxury most don’t have out in a dangerous/remote plant or mine.
