No more a lot of stuff, Bernie left RT as well, and he voices Church as well as Lopez, and you can clearly tell they had someone else do Lopez’s voice for this video. They should just end the show and move on.

Man a LOT of people are talking about Joel getting fired, and differet reasons why. I kinda just want to point out that the only thing we know right now is that he was fired, the most reliable information we have outside of that is what he has said about it on twitter. I.E. He was fired without warning, and they brought him in shortly before to record some PSA's. He also seems to imply (I dont think he ever directly stated it) that he was fired because he was saying openly conservative things on twitter that the company didn't agree with, so they fired him. Personally the thing I'm kinda ticked off about, is that they never put out a statement. Seriously he's a FOUNDING MEMBER, and he helped make rt possible. Even if whatever he was fired for is deserving of it, (which is debatable based on what we know) you should definitally make a statement about it to announce his departure.

Joel did kinda go a little too far with some of that. Don't get me wrong he's allowed to have his opinion, but when you're one of the top faces of a company sometimes you gotta reign it in a little. And it's true he hasn't been doing much at the company recently other than voicing caboose that we know of. Wish he could of done the same thing Jason and Dan did, not work at the company but still voice the character.

If that was all it was than they wouldn't have stopped him from voicing caboose, and I mean he said he like doing that so I doubt it was him refusing. As for political stuff, its unconfirmed (everything is besides him being fired) but I do agree with you, when you're so high up in a company you shouldn't be constantly spewing things that don't reflect the companies opinion. Even if you agree with everything he said, that's still true. But I still think they should have put out a statement. He wasn't exactly a small, unimportant person in the company, and he did do a ton to help get it off the ground.

It wouldn't be the same to me, caboose is so iconic that I can't imagine him with a different voice actor but I think there moving on to new characters from now on while our favourite idiots still exist they probably won't get much focus.
If Rooster Teeth does end up giving Caboose a new voice actor, I think they should give the role to Aron Dismuke (Oscar Pine). When I heard his voice on Rwby, I could just see him acting like an idiot and talking about things that only make sence to him. And the In universe explanation for Caboose's change is that he "swallowed a Lego piece, thinking it was a piece of candy."
And for the recasting of Lopez, I would have his voice gets injured in battle, and Sarge attempts to fix it but ends giving Lopez a female voice... that also speaks spanish by mistake. (because the universe hates Lopez). And Sarge decides to rename Lopez "Lopina" (it's the best I could think of) and who would be the new voice of Lopez (Lopina) I would give the role to either Kara Eberle (Weiss Schnee) or Katie Newell (Emerald Sustari), and maybe Jessica Nigri (Cinder Fall). And those are my recasting choices any thoughts.

Day 1 of telling Roosterteeth that it's okay- I'm fine with switching to new characters and putting an end to RvB classic. Just PLEASE, for the love of everything that is holy, PLEASE at least give the OG guys a grand finale to wrap up their story. PLEASE. I want my favorite show to go out on a bang, not a whimper.
i mean.... tbh, i find that their story is wraped up, caboose accepted what it means to be death, donut had his grand moment, Wash accepeted being disabled, Carolina accepted that its better for wash to know it, they defeated a litteral GOD, they deserver to retire quietly.
They Gone trough enough, lost enough. Defeating the Meta, busting project Freelancer, Ending a Civil war, stopping the Blues and Reds, and fixing time itself(after breaking it) loosing Church... twice, having Wash disabled, etc... let them rest and not give them any more mental traumas(especialy caboose)
@@weberman173 Idk, Grif and Simmons still haven't really gotten much development, Sister still hasn't, Sister and Tucker's rivalry still hasn't been concluded I don't think, we've never seen Junior again after we separated from him, we don't know where 479er is or if she's even alive, we don't know if Wash is okay or the extent of his damage- does he have brain damage? Is there a personality change? Is his voice just different? Is he damaged in a way that is physically irreparable? Weaker/has breathing difficulties/etc.?
My point is, there's still a lot of loose threads that can/should be concluded. Besides, even if they did learn fitting "lessons" or whatever, real life isn't like that. Do real people just learn a single thing and then just stop developing? Do they stay the exact same for the rest of their life? No, of course not. People are still developing, changing, and growing all throughout their life, even into their 50's and 60's. "They deserve a peaceful retirement". Of course they do. All I'm asking for is a final chapter to wrap up their stories, tie up some loose ends, give a bit of final development, and bring the story to a conclusive end. Heck, I'd even be totally okay with a completely character season. Where they just bicker and talk about their feelings and junk. But most people would think that's boring, therefore, "grand finale". Besides, that's not how it works either. What, you just buy a house and tell the universe "okay, no more hardships or tough times ever again, okay?" and it just works?
All in all, I don't think it's too much to ask for a proper conclusion from Roosterteeth before they start expecting me to watch and accept these new guys.

@@stormstrikerpro He wasn't told to get out, as far as we know. In his own words, he just stopped showing up to work shortly after seeing the writing on the wall after something he will only refer to as "the Incident", was quietly fired after, and then moved out of Texas some time later.
As far as I can recall, that's about as much as he said on the matter.

Honestly it's good RvB is ending, you can only do so much story wise with the same characters before they begin to feel out of place. Like the stories arent bad, the quality isnt bad, but when you have characters from season one which had "they have the flag" as a large plot point to saving the universe, it is odd. Not to mention there are probably people who dont want to do RvB anymore, playing a character for so long is a lot for some people. If I am ever feeling nostalgic, I will watch the series again start to end, but as is, I look forward to something fresh. As for Joel, I think it is important to separate the character and the actor, I want to enjoy caboose without thinking of him being a total ass to his friend who just went through a life or death situation. Like the characters he plays are funny, but he strikes me as the kind of guy who has lost a touch with people a little bit as fame tends to be isolating. For example, notch. It is kinda shitty to bring him in have him record lines and then fire him, maybe he knew and they were like this is your last gig, but fundamentally, Joel is very popular and his characters are very loved, so firing him had to have been done because something about having him as an employee was not okay. We don't fully know what he was like to work with. At the end of the day, we dont know the full situation, but until then, we can have the characters we enjoy separate from the actors.
One big difference for notch was that he never wanted the level of fame he had and wasn’t a person who could deal with it, which is why he sold Minecraft. That’s why he’s been working on his own games ever since, never released though.
