TROPICAL UPDATE - Texas Gulf Coast Preparing for Hurricane Impacts from Beryl

- The Yucatan has done its job in more or less stripping Beryl of a large majority of its previous intensity. The satellite this morning shows a storm disconnected from its core with plentiful dry air wrapping into the vortex brought on by an upper low drifting west close by as we discussed yesterday. Models are in a fair bit of agreement as Beryl makes a run for that neutral point in our weather pattern there is some strengthening to be had. However, the threats for Texas remain fairly high especially in terms of flooding rains and storm surge, alongside a tornado threat along the east/northeast side of the cyclone itself.
It's been so stressful not knowing whose in-depth analysis to trust. The fear mongering is so morally bankrupt, it disgusts me, and I'm thankful for this video. It's been very stressful out here.

Definitely keep a close eye on satellite and radar, and you’ll be just fine. Highly encourage that movement further inland

I haven't seen other weather forecasters criticize you. So if it's individuals, I'd say don't even bother with them. They're small minded people and you don't need to spend time on them. I watch lots of weather people and I find your forecasts to be solid and I think if you keep up what you're doing, you'll go far. 😁😁😁

@@WxCenterNazario I'm so sorry to hear that people are being abusive. That's never OK and I hope that they pipe down and spend their time doing something productive. I think a lot of people who can't do things just criticize. Clearly you are one of the doers and sometimes people just can't stand to see some successful doer doing things they would never have the wherewithal to do.
As you get bigger on this platform, I think some of the unproductive voices will get drowned out by the positive ones. I'd definitely suggest focusing on the positive voices on your streams because when you do, it sucks all the oxygen out of the proverbial room for the negative people. Call out peoples' positive or helpful comments and questions on streams and videos, and especially the questions, because I think a lot of people look at weather from folks like you because we want to learn. That could help drown out the negative people and bolster the positive ones.
