So this was quite a fun test. Me and Holly happened to be in the Charlotte area when Duke nuclear conducted a test of the McGuire nuclear outdoor warning system. So, we headed out to this SRN and set up on the parking garage next to it. We were not expecting the Fedelcode to do anything at all, but it actually went off and shocked us both! We asked the fire department next to the sirens about the Fedelcode post test, and they had literally no idea about it, so its use is a mystery for now. Overall, it was an awesome birthday present, and I couldn’t have asked for a better test. Thanks for watching and I hope you enjoy the video!

Nice catch. I believe the Fedelcode was a fire call activation since it’s by a fire department. Happy birthday to (saw the description)

Thanks, and unsure about the Fedelcode. We asked the FD about it and they had no clue what we were talking about and thought we were just talking about the nuclear siren.

@@Montecat33 Pretty sure it was a fire call, I believe NC is fire siren land but I don’t know for sure if it is. I live in fire and tornado siren land currently.

It wasn’t though, the firemen didn’t leave or have any reaction when it went off.

@@Montecat33 That’s weird. Not sure why then. I’m guessing either they wanted to test it or someone requested them to set it off.

  • @AmericanSirenProductions

My guess the Fedelcode is a part of the EPZ system

  • @MiddleTNSirens
