Tribal Style Cooking a On Rock | Primitive Survival: Cooking Meat on a Rock / Grilled Chicken Stone
For the first time in Nepal Chef Prakash Neupane has came with the idea of cooking chicken on a rock in primitive style at natural environment. He is thus trying to promote nepali culture, natural beauty and nepali food all over the world.In his cooking, he is using all the primitive techniques to cook the chicken by using freshly picked local herbs and spices. Enjoy the video with natural scenes and natural sounds of river,birds,fire etc.
Cooking on a rock is a method of cooking since ancient times. By putting the rock on the fire the heat will make the meat cooked. This method of cooking will make the meat less dry and tastier when baked directly on the fire
Chicken was slaughtered and processed in a typical Nepalese way. Herbs and spices was blended on the natural stone grinder and then chicken was marinated with it. The pieces of marinated chicken was cooked directly on the hot stone which was placed on an open wood fire.
At the same time Chef Neupane was cooking chicken gravy in a traditional nepali way to feed local children and villagers.
