Mostly I just love the boots with the shorts.
I'm going to use this video as an example when people ask me why I carry a knife everyday. It's a good example of every day scenarios when you could need a knife.
This is the best video yet! At the end I love how George gives Kurt the knife that he won and already has.

Im so glad you guys did another one of these. i say run the same challenge with fix blades- swap small ropes for maybe standard para cord, and the apple for a watermelon(slice in quarters and eat 1 slice). and maybe soak the blade for 30 seconds prior to test to show "real life usability in the wild"

I love blade bq and it would be an Absolute dream to do a knife banter with Zach Kirk and Jamie Thx for all the entertainment for the past 2 seasons
EDC Challenges:
- Tape, lots of tape, and different kinds. How well do these blades hold up after cutting a 100 feet of tape?
- Nylon straps, zip ties: how well can it get under and then cut them?
- Nail trimmer in a pinch.... not sure how to make a "test" of it, but yeah... nail trimmer
- Opening letters: have to do it w/o destroying contents, not always easy to get the point into the letter to get started.
- Off hand opening
- Wire stripping (should have various types, but need to include network cable, shielded for the IT guys out there!!)
- Peel a potato
- Need to whittle something to make it fit into something else: i.e. "fixing" the shape op the plastic plug so you can plugin the box fan
- Carve names, dates, description of contents into styrophoam to-go container
I have more, but will wait to see how you do with these. I believe in you guys.

Maybe you could do a swiss army knife challenge, and create a task for every function. And you could include sharpening on the stone at the end, and test sharpnes :).

For your next Knife Challenge; can you please do something more thrilling, dramatic, and fraught with danger! The challenge I would like to see, would definitely require the contestants to prove, they possess a specific skill, attention to detail; and most importantly, the ability to stay alive long enough, just in case they win, they’re able to collect the 1st Place Trophy? The contest would determine who’s the fastest, cleanest, and most accurate, at Castrating a Bull....??? However, each contestant can ‘only’ use Boker Bailey Ziel Throwing Knives ~ What a great way to see who’s the best at throwing knives, under pressure! The contestants can use their own throwing techniques they developed or use the standard “No-Spin” or “Fast-Spin” throwing techniques. Regardless, of the minor details, this should certainly, be an exciting, bloody, but damn entertaining challenge to watch!

Edit: Just wanted to add that if you don’t own a Feldspar, get one. Best budget folder to have ever existed lol.

some EDC-"Dad" tasks (dad is in quotes because... well everyone knows the current climate)
Office EDC Tests: lift staples from paper packets, breakdown full boxes (tape and all, so tape can get stuck on the blade), open mail
Home EDC tests: remove those little clothing tag things that the tags rip off of from jeans, open plastic wrapped food WITHOUT getting the knife in the food (think raw chicken), open plastic toy packages like at Christmas, removing a splinter/sliver/thorn (if you can think of a way), and maybe a honey-do task like cutting flowers or curling ribbon.
Side note: it would be cool to see a Balisong vs OTF EDC Challenge.

Splitting wood, making a fire, processing proteins, etc. Maybe a more abusive challenge so use fixed blades? Like a camping scenario almost, outdoors.
Also trivia, cover the branding on knives make them guess the maker.
I really want to see more of these was really fun to watch. If I think of more I shall return and leave my comments here.

I work at a gas station and have to process those heavy thick soda syrup boxes everyday. I cut an x through top and bottom then fold the thing flat. My medford smooth criminal handles it like a champ. I know that's not an edc knife, but I thought that would be a fun, but challenging challenge!!
How about multi tool challenge with wood and wire. Make a desk ornament

What is Kurt carrying in his boot? Also what about a surprise EDC challenge for preparedness using what is carried on the person have challenges for cutting, tools, (screwing, prying open, wire clipping) source of life (like finding several objects in a dark room) and maybe starting a fire

Make the next gauntlet ‘runners’ light their way with whatever flashlight is on or about their person! Start them in a dark or minimally lit warehouse.

Not only was l engrossed in the competition, but l ended up doing research on the knives with regard to future purchases.
Entertaining and productive. You might even be able to bring viewers into the competition by revealing the knives in the next round of tests, and having them vote on possible winners (with a prize to one lucky viewer when the video airs?).
Kurt gets asked into the warehouse, George gets ordered. Definately a pecking order.

I think a good challenge, since they work in a warehouse of knives, would be to blindfold them and make them identify an assortment of knives by tactile interaction only. Points scored for correctly identifying the make and model. Throw in a couple customized knives and award bonus points for identifying the modifications. Just keep some bandages at the ready for the two...

I think it would be awesome if you held a semi-regular competition where you select random followers to come to participate and they get to battle for a prize. Or they compete against Blade HQ employees and if they can beat them, then they get a prize or something of that nature. Just a fun way to stay connected to the fans and give back to the community. Obviously, this would be hard for some people to travel and it's dependent on covid, but there's plenty of people nearby that would love to participate and try to win a knife.
