This is all great information, thank you so much! I am new at this and I'm learning a lot with this videos. Question, what does FS-101 or FS-102 stand for?
Just saved this video for the purpose of going back to it as reference when i am hunting " KENNEDY " half dollar coins..thanks Rob!
Make more of these. I cannot tell you how much they help to be summarized. Now I have a list I can write down and look for much easier. ❤️. Thanks pal.
Very thorough and informative thank you!!
Thanks RobFindsTreasure. I been looking for other half dollar coins that may have value, but could never understand or see what to look for. This video went into detail and helped a lot.
Enjoyed, thanks Rob! The fun gets better the longer I watch! 👍😁
Ive been watching this channel for a few weeks, I took out an old box of coins in my house in Ireland and found 2 wheat pennies an Indian head nickel, an old Irish 3d piece, old English half pennies, pennies, a 6 pence, shillings and a 2 shilling coin.
You have me hooked.
This is a assume video, always helping the community, thanks Rob
Thanks Rob for your expertise in coin roll hunting halves!
Great info good sir. This is what I really like to see!
Would love to see more vids like this.
Man, I love your content. I've went through 3 boxes of halves this year with no luck, but I love the hunt! I've had better luck in my nickel and penny hunts. Your channel has helped!
Respect the game ...like someone else said in the comments we need more videos like that for the knowledge .. thanks for the info rob 👍👌🙏☮️
You're the best RobFindsTreasure, great vid and info.
Awesome video! I've been waiting for this one!
Thank you for this video Rob, very helpful. Would love to see some with Nickels, Cents and Quartera
Great video Rob! I would love to see more like this! It's great to see "live" examples. Also show a "normal" coin if you can to further illustrate the errors and varieties. Thanks!!
Please more videos like this! I’m new to hunting and value these ones very mich
Great video Rob! Very helpful.
Thanks for the great info on errors.
Thanks for that tutorial Rob! There's so much more to look for besides silver!
Good info, I like these types of videos. There are always things to learn from other people in the coin community. Thanks
Enjoyed this. I am a rookie, would love to learn more from you. Thanks for sharing. Ordered my first box of halves and hope it arrives this week.
Really would like to see more videos like that Rob... very informative... thanks..😎
Totally agree. Love videos like this
Thanks for the video well presented.
I'm sure I'm not the only noob that was thinking ....What's FG? A quick trip to Google land & here's what they had to say ....
The very small “FG” on the reverse of the Eisenhower silver dollar, which can be seen just below the eagle's tailfeather, stands for U.S. Mint sculptor-engraver Frank Gasparro, later chief engraver. His initials can also be seen on the Lincoln, Lincoln Memorial cent, Eisenhower dollar and Anthony dollar.

Hey Rob! Thanks for the video and your nuggets of knowledge! Love it brother, and I'm gonna be giving these coins the evil eye!
Great video on Kennedy clad varieties! Thanks, Rob.
Yay, educational program by teacher RFT. Nickels next please. That's the one I'm not familiar with.
never been skunked on a box of halves, cus i cant afford one lol
One day you will pop your half cherry
some day... life just likes to take all the fun away lol
Falls Coins lol
Ahhh, the best thing about getting coins is you can always take them back to the bank... keep what you think is worth something...😎
Falls Coins same
Thank you again!! For more awesome information
I just got into half dollars mostly for the silver. Was checking 72 D for no FG and 74 DD, but now I got 7 other errors to check. Thank you so much for the info.
I'm glad you made this video because I usually just look for silver
LOVED THIS VIDEO!THANKS SO MUCH!
I love these vids you are the best CZcamsr ever!
Woah. Glad I watched this. Just found an 1983P no FG in my recent hunt!
Love the video Rob. Helps alot of us new hunters
Thanks for the info and congrats on finding so many examples!
Nice video I see a lot of people do that to, I'm the same way as you I can't pass a coin up without checking it on both sides. It dosent matter the denomination I gotta check out everything. All I have is a clip on magnifier that dosent work to good. I save all the ones that I have to put under a scope there starting to really pile up. its gonna take me a week to go through all the coins I saved to check under a scope. Dimes are such a pain, I still didn't find a 1996w I seen that you just found one not to long ago. Thats a cool one to say that you found while you were hunting congraduations.
Just hunted my first box found one 40 but it’s the thrill of the hunt thanks rob definitely need more tips and tricks
Thanks for doing this video!
Amazing information. There are many varieties to get and look for so anyone don't be discouraged in your coins peeps! I the only error or variety that I found in halves is an off center strike. Although I need to search my halves more closely.
Thanks for this video!
Thanks for the info.. I get a few rolls at a time when i can find them . so something to look for.
Great video. I get skunked all the time so it’s good to have a few more errors to chase.
Just found a NoFG awhile back. 👍👍
More videos like this please!
THANKS ROB!!! I only have magnifying glass, no loop or microscope so I don't look for DDO cause hard to see but the No "FG" coins I can look for. Thanks for giving me something else to look for other than silver!!!
Thanks RFT, knowing is half the battle.
GI JOE! Love it!
Loved this video!
Great job!
Thanks Rob!
Very informative video. I’ve hunted hundreds of half dollar boxes and have found my share of clad errors and varieties. Like you said, it makes a bunch of silver skunk boxes worth the time invested in hunting them. Btw Rob, I’m in Cleveland, OH, a city known for having many coin collectors/coin roll hunters. I’m on box 21 in a row without a sniff of silver. That’s an obscene amount of boxes without even a low grade 40%er. I guess dems da breaks. 🤷♂️
Good video! Thanks 😊
you are awesome Rob!!!
Very nice.
I love your videos
I love the tutorial vid...i want more please
Love video. Please do more tutorials!! 💜
AWESOME VIDEO!!!
That is some nice finds Rob
Love it brother!
Great and informative video Rob! Could you please do a video like this for the clad 1965 to 1969 Washington quarters.
Great video! Would love if you do a video like this for clad Washington quarters. Maybe make a series or playlist? :)
Awsome good luck I want a penny mat
To for the info rob
Nice presentation! I have seen several 1974 D DDO's on your stream! Be nice to find some of the others on the stream as well!
It would but they are more rare and would add a ton of time to hunt for. That being said, I will likely look for a few here and there as I sometimes do.
@@RobFindsTreasure Understood
My 72d (no fg) has just a little of the g lightly raised.Always wondered if that was enough to be counted or not.
Great video Rob. Definitely gives me something to look for when I finally start hunting Halves. Have you considered submitting your 83 no FG for designation?
Good luckn
Thanks 4 the video, very helpful, I still don't see some of the doubling would be hard 4 me if I'm sorting thru them , any reason they haven't recognized the 83 yet?
I'm not sure why - it is listed in many variety books but I guess they have opted against it.
two questions, why is the 83 no "FG" not recognized and two are there any videos like this on pennies I am just starting collecting and just now in here did I make the connection ddo means it has doubling on a specific side so I have a lot to learn
Rob, you are so cool man, I hope I meet you at a coin convention one day.
Thank you brother - likewise my friend.
@@RobFindsTreasure who knows bro, I got 6 penny rolls I have to search, hopefully ill find a 1992 close AM or a 1983 Lincoln cent stuck on a copper planchet! That would be amazing! Probably not going to happen, but I won't give up hope, already found 3 wounded eagles.
Hi Rob. I really enjoy your channel. I have three plastic rolls of B/U 1964 Kennedy Half Dollars I purchased at a garage sale. These are really bright! Denver and no mint marks as well. Accented hair as well. Do you think I made a good score and have these graded? I could really use your expertise. Thank you,
Plzzzz make mats with this info in all denominations. I'd buy them all!
I have them completed - just need to print them.
My friend has a 1902 Indian head penny
Could really use a Quarter version. I have 0 luck with well-known things like rusty Kansas and spitting Delaware horses, much less the silvers. Anything new to look for would be great.
Hey rob
Hey Aiden!
Where do you get those black boxes that were on the stream?
I have no control over it my friend - could be Black Rolls, could be Loomis, could be NF String and Sons.
Hi
more please
Great video! What is a FS-101 and FS-102?
Just the listed number designated to those varieties.
@@RobFindsTreasure thank you for the info.
what does FG mean and what are you looking for in half dollar coins besides silver? Can you find some half dollars can worth something(a couple of hundred dollars or more?)
FG is the designer's initials (Frank Gasparo)
Hey Rob where on PCGS was that list?
It's under the "POP REPORT" or Population Report
RobFindsTreasure Thanks was looking everywhere for it👍
Do these varieties sell well/fast on eBay? Is there a big market for them ?
Typically, most varieties should have a professional authentication (like PCGS, NGC, ANACS, etc) OR come from a trusted seller. There is a market for these coins but without them being slabbed and/or in high grade, it is tough. That being said, many collectors DO want to complete all the varieties as they complete their collections.
@@RobFindsTreasure thank you
How come PCGS doesn't recognize the 1983 no FG?
I was at the er with my nephew so I couldn't be first
I hope all is well my friend!
One week gustaría saber el valor y la colección completa del presidente Kennedy
I should just go ahead and change my screen name to "Skunk Box"
Should of probably thru in the rarer 1987
It's not a variety brother. BUT I could have mentioned the NIFC's for sure.
What about a silver 1964
what is the best way to store your valuable coins?
If you're only searching for silver and not looking for errors and varieties you're throwing money away.
Hi
