Should GIANT TURNIPS Return In Super Mario?

I was playing Super Mario Advance for the first time since I was a kid and I couldn't get over how ridiculous the giant turnip was. Out of all changes to the game this one felt so ridiculous and meaningless, but the more and more I thought about it, maybe we need the giant turnip after all?
What do you think? Should giant turnips return?

I wanna see those weird small radishes come back, but of similar scale to the big turnip. They already look like one of those Nerf thrown rocket things. A giant one of those would be amusing and fun.

The giant shyguys and giant turnips remind me of the fat shyguys and jumbo eggs in Yoshi's Island (and since YI got shyguys from SMB2 to start with it's like an ouroboros)
