Oh thank you! I missed filming that last blue layer but yes, it was just the blue colouring in jelly (no green)

I used queen flavourings - but in this climate, whatever you can get your hands on will work!

How did you make the blue layer on the mermaid-enade? Was it just more blue dye in the jelly mixture?

I didn't think you could use liquid food colour with chocolate? Can you with white chocolate?
You can if you only use a teeny bit - gels are better and the very best are oil based colours. I do it with white chocolate all the time!

This is how real jelly desserts should be made, not with melted gummy bears like fake cooking channels are trying to teach kids.

@@MyCupcakeaddiction It doesn't work, instead the gummy bears become rough like a rock. The Howtocook that channel has videos of them trying fake recipes from content farms, and exposing them.
Is the mermaid one just coconut cream flavored?
Yep - the coconut cream flavours it - you can also use coconut essence, and i reckon it would work if you used coconut water instead of regular water to make the actual base jelly recipe

Coconut! You can use a little coconut extract, coconut cream & i think you might even be able to make the jelly recipe with coconut water instead of regular water!
