Caitlin and Matt wanted to have our wedding in Austin because it’s where most of Caitlin’s family was near; and Texas is a place that many of Matt’s family has never been. Specifically they liked Mattie’s because it’s just about two miles from where they met, and it feels like a little oasis in the city-hard to believe it’s in the city at all. Plus Matt and Caitlin both love live oaks.
