  • In this episode, we camp at Moke Lake before embarking on an early morning drive to the Remarkables Mountains and Lake Alta, famous for being the filming location for Dimrill Dale in The Lord of the Rings. In the Remarkables, we tackle the challenging hiking trail known as "Queen's Drive" or "The Masters Traverse." This hike is not for the faint-hearted, as it scrambles around the Double Cone with a several hundred meeter drop waiting for you if you were to slip on the loose rocks. Along the way, we meet Chris, an experienced mountaineer who guides us safely across the traverse and invites us for another hike in Glenorchy the next day.

Awesome! I really like your filming style, the addition of graphic effects, and your video editing skills. What I like the most is the warm feeling conveyed through the video's color palette. Watching it made me want to visit New Zealand again!

Thanks for your feedback! However, this is a vlog (see title) so naturally talking is a big part of it as we share our thoughts and experiences as we go along. :)
