      After this i went to a 16 inch Electric Chain Saw. Doing that i do not have to remove the saw to fill the oil tank. It cut even better.

    Genius. I want to copy it exactly the same, but I can't quite see the attachment of the rope holding the chainsaw to keep it horizontal. I see the body of the chainsaw in the air held by a bungee cord.

      Thanks. Made it so easy. Later I changed to a corded chainsaw. Reason was adding oil did not require removing saw

      I later changed to a corded electric Chainsaw. Craftsman 16 inch. It works great. Reason is you don't have to remove it to fill the oil tank. This set up is so easy in the back. Can cut up to 7 inch sticks. Put a wheelbarrow in place and the wood will fall into it.

      @@wayneladd7509 how can you keep a straight cut..I need to cut 250mm pipe in 40mm slices..but a clean cut

    • @wayneladd7509
      @wayneladd7509  Před rokem

      @@Dave-im3lm if you used a table like I did you can add a fence to the front. Pipe against it 90 degrees to the saw. Not sure you could cut pipe with a chain saw.

      Thanks. It is the most efficient and easy way to cut small wood I have ever tried. Almost zero effort. I changed to a corded electric Chainsaw. Reason is that the oil tank is on top. No removing the saw to add oil. 16 inch Craftsman.

    Looks like the table is a modified industrial strapping machine .

    Add a scale to the table so you’re cutting the same length every time??
