Several years ago I made a plate valence for over the window in eating area. Used plate hangers too. Layered some plates as well. Love it!

I love this idea. I've seen plates used as a large wall Christmas wreath, and I've seen them placed over a door or around the top of a mirror. I have a couple of paintings that need some "friends" nearby so they don't look alone on walls. I can't wait to start this project!

Hi, I love this idea. What kind of nails did you use and are all the nails secured in the wall studs? I would be afraid of the plates falling and breaking if they weren't secure.
