- An Israeli airstrike struck a high-rise building in central Gaza City as journalist Youmna Al Sayed reported live for Al Jazeera from a neighbouring building. Al Sayed continued to provide commentary despite being forced to move away from the camera by the explosions. The targeted building housed businesses in addition to offices for Hamas' Al-Aqsa satellite channel and is located in one of the busiest streets of Gaza's Roman neighbourhood. The airstrike is part of continued violence between Israel and Palestinian militants that is the most serious conflict between the parties since 2014

You need to seek shelter behind solid objects or in a crevice, not run like a headless chicken. You can't outrun shrapnels or other objects sent flying by an explosion. As you can see, she was wearing a helmet and body armor for the express purpose of protecting her from those things. They wouldn't save her if the missile/rocket struck right next to her, but they will protect her from secondary effects of the explosions.
@Jingroel Gaza is a terrorist organisation but this is the Israeli government and army carrying out the strike. An actual government of a country. I'll leave you to recognise the difference.
Oh, and if you didn't know. For every rocket attack by Gaza there's like a 100 far deadlier ones by Israel in return. This isn't an equal war. It's like a person punching you in the gut and you snapping his neck off in return.
That is completely insane. They are carrying out a live Broadcast while bombs are striking builings surrounding the Reporter 🙈
My heart breaks for these people.
Unfortunatly ..we live in the worst place on earth :(
Hats off to the journalists who are literally in war zone, giving up their lives fully just for the news!!!
these are true journalist, risking life for real important and important events, not journalists who cry when someone disagree to their twitter article and take a 3 week vacation
This woman is literally not in a war zone.
@@mrsocietyvevo3823 Amen
Warzone bruh that is a residential area bro and she’s there for money
@I win You lose found the twitter journalist!!!
She has to be the most calming person she is in danger and walks off I'd be running
because they knew that the attack would happen. Israel gives a warning before they strike to limit colleteral damage
@@d3203 yeah, that didn't seem like she was expecting it
It’s what living in Palestine does to you!
@@d3203 They don't give warnings in most cases. They give warnings when they attack infrastructure like the one she mentioned: towers and like what happened recently, media facilities
They almost never give warnings when they attack mosques, hospitals, neighborhoods, and civilians
It's been the norm that way for years. There is no point uttering the morality that surfaces on a whim amongst the Israeli forces. They are the clear oppressors in the land for decades now by engaging in colonialism and land theft.
yeah nice warning, hey you have a few minutes to evacuate your house which you will then lose because we will flatten it. Freedumb!
we can hear the same sound from the hospital
As a 15 year old , I feel useless when watching misery in my country and stand powerless against this evil , how pathetic
You can help by talking abou it to your friends ...and by boycotting Israel now the world is boycotting “hp ...puma “ until it ends the occupation.. plz follow the worldwide movement BDS ON social media to be updated and help these poor people

How terribly horrifying could that be when you are sitting in home and praying 24*7 that your building doesn't get hit by any projectile.
This building on which she is reporting has been blown up today ..its al jazeeras media building
Somebody should tell hamas to stop firing rockets at heavy populated civilian areas, they use their people as human shields ,you cannot negotiate with terrorist.
Little do they know that praying doesn't help
@@troyflores5459 someone should tell Israel to stop taking civilians homes and being hypocrites i guess their people didn't learn their lesson by Germany
Even baseball hits from Neighbors kids playing baseball
As a child i witnessed a war in my country , I can empathize with innocent people, it's the young, weak and poor who suffer the most, in my country we have a saying "in war a rich man gives away his bull, the poor man gives away his son"
Where from?
All so those who are in power can stay in power.
Palastinians are used to this unfortunately
😭
@@jaxxmadine dont you mean only the useful people stay in power. This isent a fantasy world where poor people are always weak and people with money are untouchably gods, i get thats how people on the internet want it to be so they can pretend to feel bad for random strangers, but thats just not how life works.
Everyone is talking about the journalist. But no one is talking about the people that has been living under this condition since 1967
She didn't take shelter on the first strike, this was roofnocking!
In her position, I'd have died of a panic attack. She was senible, but very calm. Respect
Same
Weak
They are used to it there tbh. I have a friend from israel and she tells me all the time about strikes happening, unfortunately.. so you get used to it from a young age.
