Relieve some stress by exploring some of the most beautiful neighborhoods in Helsinki, Finland from the bird's-eye perspective of a drone.
Today we're flying over the easternmost neighborhood of Helsinki. Vuosaari (Nordsjö in Swedish), can be easily accessed by subway (last stops) and will amaze you with its modern residential buildings, well-blended nature, and a stunning beach. Over 35 thousand inhabitants call Vuosaari home, and the number is growing rapidly! It is also located next to 150 hectares of goods seaport, one of the busiest in the country!
Although Vuosaari comprises several neighborhoods, our flight today will mainly focus on Aurinkolahti and Kallalahti, but we'll first take a look at the central part of the district. Our flight will start by the Puistopolun primary school and then we'll continue north towards the church, the Vuoniityn primary school, and the outdoor sports facilities. We will then turn around so you can admire an old white tower next to a residential building. If you can guess what it was used for, comment below!
We will then fly towards the sea where we will take a brief look at the Vuosaari high school and the Vuotalo, which is a culture center. We will lower our altitude as we approach the Columbus shopping center, right by the bus stop and the subway station, so you can admire its design. Right after, we will gain altitude to admire the gorgeous views around Cirrus, the 86 meters (282 feet) residential tower which was the tallest residential building in the country until very recently. Can you guess which one is the tallest? (Hint: watch the Kalasatama video!).
Our flight will then allow us to explore the newer streets of the neighborhood of Aurinkolahti, where we will enjoy its canal, the architecture, and of course the beach! We will fly along the coast all the way to Kallahti where we'll greet a boat full of tourists. After a last jealous look at the sunbathing vuosaarelaiset, we will fly in towards the central park our Vuosaari, where we will say bye to each other hoping that you have enjoyed the tour.

Damn this video is too nostalgic, I lived almost my whole life in Vuosaari, seeing all those buildings, my old school, brings up too many memories. Vuosaari now looks even better, there are now 2-4 new skyscapers and etc. Best part of Helsinki hence down.

You could easily compare this to some high end neighborhoods in miami. Do you know the best part......this is not only for rich people. It's so beautiful, it almost brings tears to my eyes. And the photographer, well is is absolutely fantastic. Crazy skills
