Thanks for watching, dudes! Likes, favorites, and feedback is always appreciated :) - Hry
pretty nice that they have skeletons with tipped arrows, since potion effects don't care about armor, this might actually be somewhat challenging?
wasn't the hardest thing ever, but very very varied and fun to go through, they're definitely cooking with this
Harming arrows would be insane, since they would be healing each other
Maybe as a rare variant?
Imagine a Breeze + Shulker dungeon…
@@leochangesnames honestly that sounds really cool yeah, if they were to add in some other potions in some way, that could be greay
@@Pvydrow honestly, the combination of different mobs is really nice yeah, hopefully they'll make it a tiny bit more challenging, but im def liking it
They should make the skeletons with tipped arrows be their own mob like strays. Have them spawn in jungles or something and have a overgrown texture
Just have them be a variant like wearing armor or spawning with potion effects like spiders do on hard mode
You mean like the Minecraft dungeons ones?
So the mossy skeletons from Minecraft dungeons?
Sure, maybe they'd do that if it weren't too difficult to add more than 1 mob a year
Mojang: ah yes, adding to the list of things we won't add
Dude, imagine you're sneaking through an ancient city when you discover that there's been a glitch and it's intersecting with a trial chamber, and before you know it you're being blasted by breezes, setting of shriekers and making noise left and right. Breezes + Wardens is like the worst possible mob combination.
or imagine going through a chamber, and then getting killed by the warden without even knowing of its existence
Depends if they spawn below y=0! I could see it being limited
@@jayus6134Trial chambers only spawn in the deepslate layer, so it's definitely possible for one to intersect with an ancient city.
@@lillee4207wardens literally alert you of their presence via the darkness effect, if you don’t notice them, that’s a skill issue.
@@kcoolthegamer bruv, im saying you're running around in a trial chamber doing your thing, and then you get blinded and one shot from the warden through the wall. Pretty much the opposite of what original commenter said.
So you're just kllling poison skeles and slimes, etc, then boom warden death.
ofc a shrieker and catalyst would have to be near somehow, but this is imagination, not super plausible
It makes sense that breezes deflect arrows. They have a whirlwind/tornado around them at all times so the arrow would get caught in the wind swirling around them and get shot out elsewhere
I hope they add a special armor trim to this, since various other structures have them now
and add copper to the trim options in general
You can already use copper I thought tho
@@turtlesrule4562 oh my mistake
They’ll probably add that in the later stages of the snapshots like how they add music discs a few months before the updates release
@@evlogan6543 OOooo hope we get like a cool wind instrument music disc to match the Breeze theme.
Mojang apparently HATES smalltalk, you can't shoot the Breeze with other players anymore
I Hate You
And I couldn’t be more proud
BA-DUM TSS!
I don’t get this joke someone help please
@@kcoolthegamerI need help too
@@kcoolthegamer To "shoot the breeze" with someone means to engage in casual conversation with them
Changelog says that the breeze blows away entities if it collides with them. So technically they did mention the arrow deflection, they just stated it in more general terms
Does that include falling anvils? Lol.
@@Dialethianworth a try.
@@Dialethian I wonder if it's possible to get "cross mapped" with tnt by them.
They should give bundles as rewards to help with the inventory
They canceled that feature
@@javierruvalcaba3452 No they did not, It is still in the experimental datapacks in the snapshots. I belive it is not yet implemented because they do not have UI for it on mobile and console and have not come up with a solution.
Dude the amount of copper is astounding, i wonder how theyre going to implement copper in crafting from now on, since its such a plentiful resource
I mean it's still a good bit of work to mine that all up, plus having to deal with the mobs in there pretty frequently, I don't think that's a big concern for them. Also you're still better off getting copper from one of those reinforcement based farms, those things give a ton of copper
I think it was already meant to be fairly plentiful given how common the ore is and how much raw copper it gives compared to the other ores. Because of that and the fact that they added more stuff for copper, I imagine they probably won't add much more stuff that uses copper (except maybe in the long run)
It was always meant to be that way- in fact, I'd bet you that they chose Copper on purpose *because* it wasn't even as plentiful as they wanted it to be, but couldn't add more ore or else it'd be a nuisance to players that don't want it. It's no mistake that Copper is relegated to decorations and redstone components, unless there's another item in the recipe that is the real cost. (For example, Amethyst is the real barrier for the Spyglass; the Copper is only there for the sake of it)
@@hamboz8976Can't forget the lightning rod! ( :
Really happy to see Mojang adding more overworld POI's. Thanks for sharing, Captain!
I would definitely take over these chambers and turn it into my dwarven stronghold village, and the spawner room can be like the danger room for combat
that’s a great idea considering that mobs don’t naturally spawn within the structure
@@BlookyBeatse tirar a iluminação as criaturas iria surgir
Guys!!!! Idea for trial room!! What if, the buttons and stuff, that breeze can activate, are made of copper... then mojang can add copper golems, and put them in trial rooms, so copper golems will randomly walk around and hit buttons to activate the traps, sometimes the trap will hit us, sometimes it will hit the mobs
It’s perfect
but that's literally what the breeze does
Ahh yes, a mob they’ll never add, coupled with a feature they never added. You have far too much faith in Mojang
@@AfromanRants they literally added all that with the breeze
@@AfromanRants they literally added that feature with the breeze.... And copper golem would have been added if we voted for it.... What are you on about
Having mobs use potion effects is a key way to make the game more challenging, I love the tipped arrows, would like to see more stuff like that with mobs
as someone who hasn’t really been too interested in the new updates the past few years, the breeze is by far (in my opinion) the best looking and designed mob they’ve added in awhile. i love that his animations aren’t over done and feel a bit janky like the blazes still do.
Well it’s certainly a style more true to Minecraft’s original character. I hadn’t thought of it like that
I'm pleasantly surprised how cool these structures are. It's a nice change from the norm
That new trial rooms is missing something that could make it better like dwarfs or something like we could have had like the "copper golem" i think it would have gone really well with this structure as it could have a history where the copper golems created the trial chambers, we should have voted for copper golem
Hopefully the reward is not just potatoes and glow berries from the spawners in the final version.
It's placeholder
bro you can get like diamonds, ender pearls, trial keys, emeralds, it's honestly a good loot pool, the trial keys will probably lead to even more loot, and they said the loot tables aren't final so it could be even better
This is actually looking pretty challenging. This update might actually be better than I thought
Trying to go into this with nothing in my inventory resulted in many deaths by the mountain of baby zombies
You know what would make these so much more interesting, if when you got close to a trial chamber you got given a potion effect similar to underwater temples that disabled natural health regeneration.
That way you would have to go into the trial chambers with health potions and golden apples and whatnot. It would make them much more challenging and fun to deal with.
that would definitely make it WAY harder
Imagine the chamber with mob combination of Slime-Cave Spider-Poison Skeleton
husks would pose more of a problem than slimes
@@witha1 slimes are pretty easy unless you're surrounded
@@katzlover321 yes that's why i said they'd be easier than husks
@@witha1 I know, I just meant that Slimes are easier than most mobs
@@katzlover321 oh alr
Regeneration is going to be very useful to counter on-going poison during extended encounters
fun fact: trial spawners have regen potions as rewards
Captain found the bone zone
Looks pretty cool and fun. Glad to see tipped arrows being used more as well as they’ve always just kinda been there. Only mob to use them to my knowledge are Strays
Slight correction, the breeze does not set off redstone, it toggles the state of certain blocks that would feasibly be affected by strong wind, such as it will blow doors open and closed, will blow levers and buttons, and it will also put out candles
He covers that towards the end of the video.
20:16 he goes over this
I think iron is recommended to enter here, since the loot is enchanted iron and rarely diamond
nah bro you def gonna die, you underestimate this thing
I knew The creator of the Aether Mod would add something kinda like it!
i don't remember if he specifically was involved in this one, since they usually say which things certain devs work on, like kingbdogz worked on the warden and they were pretty open to telling people that, but idk
These chambers seem so very cool! This update already has something for everyone, huh?
It will truly be trial and error.
I reallyyyy hope the key unlocks a vault of sorts with like a 'Boss Fight' and a big treasure room to finish off the dungeons that would require enchanted gear or netherite. It was so underwhelming to learn that the Warden isn't worth hunting down for any rare drop/item of real value. To bring me back they gotta make this update worth the hunt and fight. Minecraft needs more of that "YES!! I Finally found it!!" magic.
I feel like the key will need to go to something like a copper chest instead of a door, otherwise people will just by pass the door by mining through the wall. But having a boss to guard the chest is still worth doing.
i still dont get why people say the warden not being worth fighting is underwhelming. the whole point about the warden is that it is a threat to avoid, not a boss to fight
kinda like saying "the bottom of this lava lake is underwhelming"
I mean he literally has a freaking tornado 🌪 around what do you an arrow to that?
Well this is a coincidence. Boutta go into an exam but i get a video, guess ill watch after lmao
The Breeze really blew me away
Just a heads up you can get loot from the pots in the trial chambers
Would be really cool if they also sometimes spawned above ground with exteriors
Nah, they're too big and would look kinda gross, maybe giving them like a well or some other surface entrance would be cool though, but even then I'd make it pretty rare
@@shadowseek27 yeeeeeea like a simple 3x3 copper seal lined with tuff brick on the surface. Mine it to reveal a staircase? Or drop into water? Maybe it’s “Minecraft-y” to dig in from any random side. Idk.
@@jonstrunonbro1169I think a side entrance with copper grates would be AWESOME for in caves and cliff faces
i play with a mod that adds underground dungeons that progress in difficulty and loot with the level it goes down, and they have big exterior entrances above ground (sometimes a house, usually a tower) and they don’t look too big or gross at all
@@jonstrunonbro1169it's not really that they worried that it was minecrafty, if they made it linear, with an entrance and and different or better loot the deeper you went in, people would just go to the end and dig inside to get the loot, but if you make it so that it doesn't really matter from where you get in people won't really try to mine to specific areas since it won't matter. They're trying to avoid it being cheesable
"I need a water bucket" sees one in a dispenser. ignores it. "I need a water bucket"
In a world where I can come back to my favorite childhood Minecraft CZcamsrs and they're still making great content
You will need a trial map to find them. The trials only spawn adjacent to caves that have no connection to the surface.
How do you get trial maps? Is it by a cartogropher or is it like treasure maps where you need to find loot in a certain structure?
Maybe the trial key will open the portal in an ancient city which goes to the aether realm, which is where the Breeze come from.
nah it's way too common of a drop for that
Fairly sure Poison = Regen for undead mobs. It might not if I got that particular of the effect wrong, but I do know that poison (unlike the wither effect) doesn't hurt undead mobs. It's a bit like that modded ship with crossbow pillagers that have those instant healing arrows equipped; if you let them hit each other in an attempt to thin them out, it might not work if the arrow damage doesn't exceed the healing values. The skellies are all about ruining an unprepared player's day, and nothing else. 😅
yeah, you're right, instant damage and poison heal undead mobs
Last I checked (a few updates ago), instant damage heals undead, health damages them, and both poison and regeneration have no effect.
I'm so excited for this dungeon! I am also terrified for hardcore runs, I feel like they'll be a new big scare if you risk going in one without diamond/netherite enchanted armor... I'm also excited to see builds with the new blocks, as well as maybe even farming these new spawners for loot :]
This is gonna be cool for decked out
I still think oxidized copper doors should require a redstone signal to open and toggle on and off like the copper bulbs would be a neat addition to the family of doors and trapdoors
I was wondering what they were made of, that makes sense.
The Breezes having projectile deflection is very “Investiture of Wind”
"Shoot the breeze?"
Hah, good luck
It seems like they got the difficulty level right- Jardon is a professional Minecrafter and a known PvEer and it’s very doable without enchants. Which means we can mine the blocks and fight with enchants at the same time!
I'm glad to still find you doing minecraft content. It's been 11 years since I first watched your minecraft themed music videos ❤ ❤❤
So I was right that you can customize the spawners! This'll be great for making custom dungeons!!!
The obvious meta will be to bring armadillo armored dogs to the trials :)
They desperately need to create more cool loot items, the best drops are mining the walls for the copper as of now
There's diamond gear and diamonds.
@@ChillDude123that isn’t the official loot table that will be implemented
@@DevilSlayer502i don't think it'll change that much, with loot tables they don't really change as much as you'd think
enchanted golden apples are worth my time
@@witha1 we’ll see. I’d like for it to personally be in between your typical loot you’d find in a dungeon, shipwreck etc. and the end city loot. Like not too weak of loot but at the same time not too OP
Key might unlock new difficulty for chambers (we might call it mythic difficulty). When you finish chamber, you get a key. You can combine keys for higher level key that unlocks even higher difficulty (+1, +2, ...). Keys should have curse of vanishing too, so if you die in chamber you lose it.
Or some other annoying mechanic Ithat caused me to stop with MMOs :D
I like the Captain Sparklez vlogs so much. Anytime you have something to share or do something fun and want to show us I am SO IN
Also another cool thing about the trial spawners is the blocks around the spawners actually affect what mobs are spawned. At least they showed that off in Minecraft Live
Challenge, revamp a trial chamber into a base
Those definitely an experience. don't laugh but I had a difficult time trying to get an easy. My child chamber was literally in the deep dark so the only way anybody could really see it was after lighting up the entire deep dark. The one issue I have is that the breeze mod doesn't show on my Minecraft no matter how many times I uploaded so all I see is a bunch of air blowing at me but I don't know where it's coming from
Maybe when the create modpack updates you could move them with the cart assembler and you could make like some efficient auto farm
I’m a little disappointed that the range of mobs that can be found in the challenges is so low, but I suppose they wanted to stick to less unique mobs.
Like Illagers or blazes etc wouldn’t make much sense for multiple reasons, but it does just make it seems very limited.
I agree, Phantom rooms when?
@@xadielplasencia3674 oh god?
Yea would be nice if they at least added more skeletons with different potion arrows. Im also curious if these spawners (specifically zombie/skeleton) will "level up" like traditional spawners the more times you clear them and spawn armored zombies or will they always be base zombie/skeletons.
@@L3thalBones I think mobs naturally level up with the world including spawners so there doesn't need to be an specific feature for that
@@xadielplasencia3674 Im just wondering if that will apply to the trial spawners since they are a little different.
They can spawn only baby zombies??! Like a horrror movie, dont tell Philza about these places...
Oh man, that inventory is looking pretty full. If only there was an early/mid-game tool that could help you compress all of those stackable loot items.🤨
if you want it that much, it's in the game, just toggle it on bro
i love how you never quit Minecraft, Jordan
Pots have a small chance to give you diamond blocks when you break them, so make sure to go out of your way to look for them.
i found an emerald block in one and that was so surprising to me for some reason
also the loot tables for anything in the trial chambers aren't final so things might change
They should consider making those trial spawners give the player mining fatigue. It would be the compromise to the player being in adventure mode to prevent mining through the walls.
I kinda agree but im really excited to see these things get gutted and turned into Xp/Loot factories. Theyre gonna be pretty great having like 20 spawners in such a small area.
Imagine a (creative mode made) MODIFIED WARDEN TRIAL SPAWNER?
FINALLY, A MORE REASONABLE AMATHEST!!!!
This place could be great for random loot drops runs. Gives tons of copper variants to try. Plus, it adds a new loot table with ender pearls, so they'll be slightly easier to find
You get one of each catagory, So for Melee Jardoon got Slime, ok, fine, for ranged and small he got poison skeles and baby zombies like damn!!!
They should add a trap where if you step on the tripwire you get shot by a poison tipped arrow.
Holy shit if the mobs are persistent from these things they are going to make for some great xp farms. Find a large one and mine it out then set up water streams to funnel all the mobs to one spot. maybe make a mine track to run you past every mob spawner to make sure they spawn. Plus a hopper system to collect loot from spawners after you clear them all. Real great possibilities.
Edit: Also wonder if we will get Breeze rods or any drop from the Breeze and what they will craft.
i dont think 6 mobs per half hour is a great rate per spawner, ig theres more than a few spawners but probably still not great for farms
@@Sopsy_Hallow I think it will depend. If these due generate at different sizes could be beneficial if you find a large enough one. Also could differ based on which spawners you get. And we will have to see how the increase works for multiple players and if that can be exploited. Even if it ends up being not as much Xp as other options could still be a could trade off since you get a lot of loot too.
@@L3thalBonesyou actually have to be pretty close to them so the amount of spawners won't really matter and also a few mobs for half an hour rlly isn't worth it
Considering the enchanted iron armor and diamonds, as well as the common generation in the caves, these trial chambers seem to be intended for players with iron armor who are in the process of mining for diamonds and gearing up. This will be a fun way for more combat-oriented players to progress their gear. It's cool to see the breakable pots with items inside like in Zelda.
I saw a mind shaft when chunks were loading in and instead of finding that mind shaft I found an ancient city and trial chamber at the same time
Having the warden spawn because the breeze keeps jumping is a pain
"its encouraged to leave them be" these new xp spawner tutorials are gonna be nice
the trial key reminds me of the jungle chest key from terraria
it reminds me of the golden keys in the dungeon
I always go to your channel to see what new survival thing they added. Other channels are all about boring creative flight. You do this the way I want to see it, despite not being in the scene for over 10 years. Kudos!
glowberries must be a placeholder reward for now lol
Jordan tunnelvisioning past all pots is very infuriating D:
Wow here's the best captain ever 💪
while watching, I'm exploring my own trail chamber, and I came across 2 interesting things.
1 not so interesting i spotted a sus copper wall that looked like it should have a door so i broke thru and it almost seems like that is what's supposed to be a natural entrance you "come upon"
2 there are TUNNEL DUCTS you can crawl thru! i saw a whole in the floor with a trapdoor and did the thing to make me crawl and i was crawling thru a minecraft airduct in the chamber! this one was very short, but still a cool discovery
The execution seems good so far, the loot table, although currently undecided, seems to be good. And its not too hard, not too easy, but fun.
If I ever get a Baby Zombie room, I am taking a Fire Prot, flooding the place with Lava, and break the Spawner.
Heyya captain, I know this is a little off topic but i just wanted to say I miss your content and love any videos you put out even if I can't always watch them all. Anyway I just wanted to say even though you probably won't see this comment, I support you through anything you post, you made my childhood enjoyable, and when work got unbearable you made it bearable, I am so glad I had the privaledge to grow up watching your videos among the minecraft community its been an honor seeing your channel grow! Have a great day 😅 and sorry for the long winded comment! ❤
OMG I FOUND A TRIAL CHAMBER AND A STRONG HOLD IN EACHOTHER
Flew around in spectator for about 10 mins, found 2 ancient citys and 0 trial chambers lmao
maybe you already assume this (i havent finished the video) but i'd be suuuper willing to bet every single one of those loot chests will be locked somehow and the only way to unlock them is with trial keys, and when you unlock one the key is used up, therefore incentivizing doing the trials and not just running in and grabbing the loot. + maybe the chests just dont drop the items when broken, or theyre unbreakable :)
people are gonna farm the trial spawners using classic mob farm drop but with hoppers
I found a room with 6 spawners with poison skeletons. Hard mode. Almost killed me with full netherite prot 4 armor.
that in combination with cave spiders/baby zombies would be even harder
@@witha1 yeah, luckily I didn’t get them.
I did get the cave spiders, but no rooms where both was.
There is a entrance room. It’s a room with a singular tree in the middle
Why did i only know this now
These things remind me a bit of Vault Hunters, in a good way!
Though I'll never play with them probably, since I am a noob and combat in Minecraft is very annoying
Break the pots Jordan!!
It was me. I was yelling at you oops
My main concern was and still is that the loot in Trial Chambers, like that in Ancient Cities, will be underwhelming because Minecraft doesn't have a lot of loot aside from god apples and diamonds. I really hope they start adding useful loot this time instead of another Echo Shard fiasco
The trial key has me hopeful.. no chest has ever been so important before in Minecraft that it needed a lock… 🤔
@@saydays9721it might not be a chest
Minecraft needs to do something with Leather, blocks and tents.
More reasons for bottles of honey😂
Where do you find trial chambers?
Looks like woww bro ❤
What if there’s a new creeper type that spawns in these places, they would only be able to destroy blocks placed by the players which means you can’t just block the spawner in a tiny room
And they will be able to self destruct even behind walls
i don't think they're trying to prevent you from placing blocks, pretty sure they encourage you to place them in certain rooms
They better make those trial spawner rewards better or else I'll literally never do them. Just sprint through and smash pots looks to be the best strat as it stands, now.
Trial !
people are probably gonna make loot farms with these lol
I think the trial keys unlock like special chests or sumthin
Someone correct me if I’m wrong but don’t the poison tipped arrows heal the other skeletons if hit? Isn’t it like regen or smt?
