What a performance for Sofronie!!!! Sad she was active only on 2004 and half of 2005...we could have seen her in Beijing, just like the others in the team...
I think so. Her level really dropped in 2005 and she was nowhere near her level at the Olympics. I think a lot of the 2004 team were burnt out, they were really primed for the 2004 games.
I think is curious that all corners are equal, at least theoretically, still she walks all around the floor to start at the oposite side of where she entered the podium.
Oana qualified for AA finals. Was Nicoleta replaced her because Octavian though she had a better chance to get a medal as the previous year she had won silver in World Championship?
Ban and Sofronie both qualified for the AA in Athens 04 but Ban hurt her foot on her double arabian on floor in the team final so had to withdraw from the AA. Her spot wasn’t filled and Sofronie was the only Romanian in the AA.

I remembered her being the most artistic of the Romanians. I wished she had continued after 2004.
The confidence of her walk out onto the FX is everything.
