- Come along with Maksim Outdoors this week for yet another exploration of Nockamixon State Park, check out an awesome spillway along the way, find some new wildlife IDs including some new reptiles and learn about the invasive plants taking over a forest near you.
What an amazing Nockamixon State Park tour. Great to feel the daily experience of this hike on your video. Thanks a lot for sharing
Beautiful wild flowers. Hiking on a sunny day is the best option.
It was a great day for wildflowers, I prefer the rain over those hot clear days it adds some drama and some beautiful views, thanks for stopping by!
Pemandangan yang sangat bagus.Hadir menyimak bosku.salam silaturohmi semoga lancar riskinya dan tambah maju chanelnya
Amazing that you hiked through all that wind and mud to bring us this video. Really liked seeing the bald eagle and the different wildlife you saw.
Nice hike. So much to see on not such a nice day. Thanks for sharing
Thanks for stopping by, those days are usually my favorite lol
Had never thought that about the Lesser Periwinkle but it makes sense.(taking over the forest floor) Hopefully you did not catch a cold after being soaked for so long. Avoiding that mountain sounds like a good idea.
I love the video. Thank you for the good video.😆
Thank you
How did I not know this waterfall was there? Now I know what to film when I hit this park. Thanks. Also, looks like you completely got soaked. And a bald Eagle sighting is always cool. As George W used to say, “Merica!” 👍
It’s a really cool spot although it’s just a big spillway it’s definitely worth a stop at whether you hike the trail I did or just stop along side the road, thanks for stopping by Craig!
You definitely went all in on this video. I don’t think we’d hike that far in that kind of weather. Cool spot though!
Yah it was a bit different but worked out in the end, I’ll say this I would hike in weather like this everyday versus a hot 80+ degree day, thanks for stopping by as always my friend
thanks for sharing, im not a big hiker but love the outdoors, the few times i manage to hike, the views are always worth the effort of getting there. But Switzerland is too mountainous so it makes almost every hike an effort.
Still I enjoyed sharing your experience from your lenses
Beautiful video and I really enjoyed watching it. Thanks for sharing this video with us. New subscriber here
Thank you!
As a 60 year old lifelong resident of bucks county i can say that no one was "evicted" per say everyone was forced to sell (at market value btw) due to eminent domain laws much the way the turnpike and other municipal projects do. I agree it's a sad reality but most farmers used the money to relocate to other farms and move on with their lives . mostly all that was down there were a country store and a few houses and some barns .....as for prisoners being used for labor well it was 1968 and back then it was common for prisoners to do road work and assorted construction work for the state....chain gangs. Love your video btw that trail is one of my go to hikes
Thanks for some true insight on the area, love hearing the true stories from folks who have experienced it rather than reading old articles on the matter. Thanks for viewing the video!
Nockamixon SP is the closest park to me. I’ve been there more than any other SP. I had no idea of the history. I’m going to do some research.
While you were talking about the "Lesser Perriwinkle," I noticed "caution" signs on 2 trees. I'm wondering what the caution was?
Great video today; I love watching storms come in but really hate the high winds.
Hmmm not too sure I’ll have to go back and check it out, thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment!
