I've been stringing my own sticks since 2010 and I've always had my shooters loosen over time. I took my stick out to play wallball yesterday at Bowdoin College and fixed my shooting strings by readjusting the tension and properly knotting them off thanks to this video! Thank you Chris!
This series of videos is by far the best I have found to help me learn how to string a head so that I can teach my son. This is his first year as a sophomore and we are both loving it! Thank you for making these!!
Agreed on how the ECD shooters feel. I love the SK shooters, laces and nylons. No matter what mesh I use, I always come back to the sk nylon up top. Oddly, I found recently that I use an sk nylon up top, followed by an ECD nylon as a “transition” one row down, then a hockey lace after skipping a row.
I’m the biggest stickler about my sticks and my shooters have to be flat and look good and when I see other people do shooters it makes me cringe Bc they don’t care about it

If I've said it once I've said it a million times...it's all preference! Like the style thought!

I redid my shooting strings and can’t get the same whip, I now keep randomly shooting the ball up the air every few shots.
