A look underneath a Maytag Bravos Washer, failing in spin mode

A look underneath a Maytag Bravos Washer, Model MVWX700XL2. low speed spin mode. You can see the shift actuator engage then motor spin to initiate the spin mode. This washer is fails during this mode, resulting in an F7 E1 error. video was taken during manual diagnostics mode.

What was the problem? Tub hub or the clutch?

We have this same error code with our Maytag Bravos washer. It makes a loud whining sound when trying to spin then fail to spin. How did you fix the one in your video?

My shift actuator breaks about every 4-6 weeks, the plastic pin snaps off the lever operated by the cam. I can see no reason the mechanism operates smoothly, it's a pain and expensive even though the parts have a warranty.

This looks nothing like our maytag bravos washer. Must be newer
