I really wanted to highlight the whole family theme, but it always comes back to Carolyn and Daniel. What can I say? I'm a sucker for romance and those longing looks. :)

I love your video montage! I grew up watching this short-lived sitcom, and watched it before I saw the original movie with Rex and Gene, and appreciate them both. The sit-com was a respectful verssion of the film, and the supporting cast with Reta Shaw and Charles Nelson Reilly made it even better. Edward Mulhare I tthink was just as sexy as Rex!
Love this show the right actors, the right amount of agrueing and love and humor to make a perfect relationship of couple and families. Well done thank you please continue to keep this alive !! Angie K/Angelique

Great choice of music.As a child i appreciated the show on one level.As an adult i can appreciate it on another level Curious about Edward Mulhares expression at 3:16 it seems very uncaptin like could this be an outake?A far better program than most of the junk on tv today.

@dplomin1954 Thanks so much - I fell in love with it when I was a teen, running home from school to catch the reruns on in the afternoon. Being a classic movie buff too, I very much enjoyed the original - so romantic! And I agree, the cast was awesome in both versions - Edward Mulhare is so dreamy. *sigh!*

Thank you! The scene at 3:16 is from the episode "Ladies Man". That's the captain mocking Claymore, who had just tried to seduce Mrs. Muir with all that 'animal magnetism' he realized he had from his date with the two gals (that Carolyn secretly set him up with.) I still crack up when Claymore (trying to be suave) asks, "Mrs. Muir, does THIS do anything for you?" and takes off his glasses and his eyes twitch and cross. Too funny!

I know there are places on here that you can watch full episodes if you do a search. And yes, I know the song may not be everyone's cup of tea, but I liked it and thought it worked well with the clips . Hey, our tastes may be different, but that's what makes the world an interesting place, no? :)
@iamamm60 - Thank you! I have some of the episodes on computer, but the voice sync is off - not a problem if I put them to music, but not so good if I try to actually watch it. If I ever figure out how to fix them (I'm technically pretty lame at these things) then I'll try to post them.
