This is disappointing. I absolutely love his blush duos, so I had high hopes for this. My favorite cream/balm foundations right now are the Sneaky Balm by Salt New York and the one by Monica Blunder. The blush is gorgeous.
I would recommend Valentino blushes... I hate the packaging, but the blushes are good!!!👍🏻 I can't stop using shade 3, shade 8 is a little bit brighter... the formula is so forgiving for mature skin. I hope you can find a shade that you are looking for !
Some people are really touchy about this subject so I'll apologize ahead of time but... again I always think of you as COOL toned! 🧐 Which I can relate to because I'm super cool-tone & understand nobody really wants to be cool and many change to a neutral. I struggle with that all the time because growing up in Florida I was always tan which hid it better. Nowadays I'm really light (not in FL anymore) and my cool undertone is more pronounced. It's almost impossible to find the correct shade in ANY foundation?! I realize that particular foundation is warm but I just thought maybe this was something you could help with for the masses of us who struggle with this as well. So many of us have that original UK & European DNA! 🤍 Anyway, I'm also wondering if the Patrick Ta is similar to the Good Apple? I'm waiting for the Sephora sale for the Gucci blushes, love the Rosy Beige 💞. Thanks for sharing 💕
I am not cool toned. In fact, I have a very slightly yellow undertone with surface redness. My redness continues on my arms and upper chest due to life long sun exposure and sun damage.

Agree all the way around. It was a bit warm/yellowish which you were able to tone down a bit with the powder. This is for 16 to 30 year olds with a big budget, not for this 64 year old. Thank you so much. Since we're pretty much the same skin type and tone I'm incorporating foundations you review in my research for that perfect one. You've taught me color matching is everything, which is oddly not very easy. Have you ever reviewed Dior Airflash Foundation? Oddly enough, while Dior foundations work for me and 2N is often ideal - they don't have a good shade in Airflash. It seems to have it's own colors unrelated to other Diors

I was looking thru my blushes and I came across an old MAC mineral blush, “flirting with danger”…it may be close to what you are looking for but, you need a very light hand.
I'm now going to wait for your review before purchasing something. Definitely passing on this foundation 😂. The blushes looked lovely on you! Will you be testing the Lancome teint idole ultra wear care & glow foundation? I'm also curious about the Bobbi Brown skin full cover concealer.
Thanks Kiki for your demo...foundations these days are pretty pricey so you really need an easy system for skin choices. Also Im surprised there's a lack of neutral undertones in this Patrick Ta product. Not so certain about spending so much for this...Again with the Gucci these blushes seem ordinary for the price you pay.
Hi ! Indeed, the foundation shade is too yellow, especially against your neck. The rosy beige blush is unflattering (color-draining) - the coral shade is far-far-far better on you. (You could try the 01 02 and/or 03 shades.) I also prefer the second lip shade on you. Good thing you can return the foundation. Your trail walk video stopped too early. @@TheHoodedLid if you don't have it you might want to check out the duo version Paradise Glow, it has a lighter one in it (next to the terracotta reddish tone) that allows you to tone it down if it's too intense🥰

I definitely must be neutral. My perfect match is the discontinued Urban Decay Naked Skin weightless original in 3.5, but it says it’s cool undertone, however, I was matched to Deuville in NARS. They don’t seem similar to me. I didn’t buy the Radiant new one from NARS - need to try it all day over different primers. Does anyone know what foundations work best with tacky primers, like CoverFX gripping, that everyone talked about in the beginning but not anymore? My biggest thing is pilling when layering skincare, sunscreen and a primer - I feel like I need a primer around my nose for pores and the silicone ones pill over certain lotions. I know to match ingredients, but my skin can be drier depending on the day and I’ll use a thicker lotion, like vitamin enriched face base. Dumb question but is your beauty blender wet or dry? The other day I pulled out my Charlotte Tilbury light wonder foundation and forgot how nice it is. Curious how “new” ones compare, besides having skincare, but if a foundation makes your skin better with time you would eventually need less, and that would cause the company to lose money if people are buying less of it. Love those lip colors!

It’s also interesting that you liked Jones Rd WTF, but this one didn’t work. Not all balmy formulas are created equal. Have you tried Salt New York skin tints? Super sheer. (Apologies if you have already discussed this 😉)
This one is more cream than balm. I looked at the Salt website, but the colors didn't work for me. I read somewhere that the creator did a lot of olive tones.

I have combo skin. I got a very good match with the PT foundation but I hated it. It felt heavy, never set and got greasy. Returned mine to Sephora. :(
I don't recall if you've done a review on Laura Geller's baked balance and glue it's wonderful for mature skin the other one just baked and balanced is lovely also but they're two different beasts both wonderful I can understand what you don't like about the Patrick talk that would hang out in my area too around that area oh well live and learn lipstick looks great the second one
@@TheHoodedLid ah okey! You often mention being hot/ sweaty and have a dewy to wet complexion as well on your face. Perhaps using primers can help to elongate the wear of your makeup? Personally, I can't live without them! I feel my makeup goes on so much better with a primer on. Plus keeps the oil at bay and extends weartime
As usual, you look beautiful but this foundation looks heavy. And I think the older we get…..even though we want/have more to cover, I have finally realized that less is more. And yes, what is with the lack of neutral undertones for light medium skin? Do the Gucci blushes have a lot of sheen? They look great on you but don’t want to emphasize larger pores.

Check out Chanel - “So Close” blush- from the Lucia Prada collections. I think That blush is close to what you want since Lucia was the red queen.

You didn’t use a setting powder, that’s probably why it emphasised your nasolabial lines. A finishing and setting powder are not the same!

No, the Gucci blushes don't have a lot of sheen - but are not entirely a flat matte. They're very pretty.
I returned this foundation. It wasn't flattering and wore strangely.
