The fact that they recreated the looks from their first album and brought Esthero for this one... I'm honestly so happy they went back to rap and Apl and Taboo get more than 5 seconds of screentime.
I never thought I’d live to see the day BEP would go back to their pre-Fergie roots. Even collaborating with Esthero again! Holy shit, this just made my day!
For real, they haven't forgotten their roots.

This song gives me the chills. I was so disappointed with the turn the BEP took towards pop years ago. It had its place, but I just couldn't get behind Fergie.
Weekends is still and always will be one of my anthems and this throwback with my girl Esthero brings me insane amounts of joy.
This sounds so brazilian, i’m sure you guys used a litlle bit of MPB and soft samba in this, love it.

People that are saying that Fergie reunited the black eyed peas are completely wrong! Will.i.am was the leader of the group and he was the one that wanted Fergie to join them because he already has the clear vision of how powerful bep could become with the new formation! And he wasn’t wrong, thanks to her and to her vocal people really putted more attention to them. Will.i.am also was and is still now a really creative person! He didn’t want to just stick with one style and in fact bep had a really different vibes! They went form rap to hip hop then to pop (witch made them even more popular) then even more pop with those party songs and then at the end they went futuristic! As a group they were never afraid to try something new and even with different vibes of each eras you can still see the real bep’s color! They were and are still now improving and making new things! The masters of sun is for me their best album but not because Fergie isn’t here but because it’s really powerful with all this lyrics and all the composition behind! Good job bep

You know, when the Black Eyed Peas published these music videos from this album "Masters of the Sun" in which they seemed to go back to their authentic roots I was simply put happy. It seemed like a fresh start, a blend of the past and present. Now that their latest album is out, I definitely learned to appreciate what we had and what could've been far more. A welcomed change of heart and mind, but a temporary one, unfortunately in 2020-2021 back at square one- shopping centre background noise.
