"Wilford seems like the Willy Wanka man."
Heh, you have no idea
Hahaha, I have a feeling the train goes a lot deeper than it shows. The lore must be revealed!
@@JamesVSCinema there is literally a fandom dedicated at proving that this movie is a spiritual successor of willy wonka.
here is the best done video about it:
czcams.com/video/jEX52h1TvuA/video.html
it would be cool if you made a reaction video about it
Paschal Asobirionwu Actually just did!
@@JamesVSCinema there's a theory that this film is actually a sequel/spin off of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. Though I believe it's most definitely not, it's an interesting theory.
I love that it's also the same guy who controlled Truman's whole world in The Truman Show. 😅😍
"They've got no bullets" is a moment I watch over and over. Such a perfect scene.
I remember reading, back when this came out, that Joon Ho wanted a Zoo Car for the set with these horribly misshapen animals living in that environment, like having a giraffe with its neck bent in half. The set direction on this is some of the best i've ever seen in a film. Loved the reaction.
Wow!! That is truly interesting thank you for the insight! The level of detail in the set designs speak for themselves!
So like real factory farms and how zoos and circuses treat nonhuman animals…
my favorite moment in the whole film was when the door opens and all those masked guys with axes are there.. the music and slow-mo is so ominous. you realize instantly how fucked they are..or at the very least a ton of them will die. and there's a shot of chris evans pushing people back and the look of dismay on his face as he assesses the situation is haunting. brilliant acting and of course brilliant cinematography and film-making. bong joon ho is a genius.. you should also check out Okja and Parasite. those 2 and this movie are my favorite of his
"She reminds me of my 7th grade history teacher. Nothing but nightmare fuel."😂
OMFG That tickled
It was playing as I was just looking through the playlist for something to watch through patreon "together." When I heard that it made my day.
Parasite is a must now👍🏼
I'd love to re-watch Parasite. What a phenomenal film!
Bro how did you and Brandon Likes Movies come out with like the same video within 7 hours of each other haha pretty rad. Nice reaction :)
Hahaha I had no idea we did the same video! I uploaded mine before his too which is hilarious! Hope to collab with him someday :) thank you!
@@JamesVSCinema I hope you do collab! You both have the chillest, most insightful vibes
Tilda Swinton should have gotten an Oscar for this roll.
Shocked you don't have more subs! Some of the best movie reactions/commentary I've watched. Genuine, entertaining, and insightful. Keep 'em coming!
Thank you so much Aimee! That means a lot to me. I’m glad I’m able to bring a different value to these reactions while also having them being entertaining! Happy to have you along for the ride, there’s plenty more to come!
When I first saw this movie I immediately thought if they ever do live action Akira, Bong Joon Ho gotta do it.
Your movie choices continue to be 🔥 Caught myself binging quite a few of your reactions, not mad about it lol.
This is a perfect representation of a diverse cast. The Korean cast post korean, there wasn't just a token "black guy". You know what I mean? I respect this director a lot. Ever since Memories of a Murder, it's still one of my top 10 favorite films.
I think some people didn't realize that the polar bear outside meant that life was still thriving outside of the train, existence was still possible.
Edit: I saw that Bong Joon Ho, was actually writing Parasite at the time of this film. It's interesting to see the similarities. In this movie, classes are separated horizontally, while in Parasite, the classes are separated vertically. Also, in both films the amount of light that shines into the dweller's presence, is directly connected to their class status. The lowest have no light at all, while the highest class have all the light they could want (in Parasite the rich family has a large glass side of the house where the light pours in, while the Kim family only has the little amount of sunlight from the top windows of the semi-basement apartment).
Yeah, one animal that's biologically evolved to survive cold temperatures being alive = life is thriving. No not even close. Good luck living longer than like a week.
deff one of my favorite films , keep the reactions coming man !! subbed
Cheers!! Thank you!
So many awesome scenes in this movie. Can’t believe I forgot them.

How about parasite?
Mother is also VERY good. and, of course, parasite.
There's a really interesting video from youtube channel Rhino Stew about a movie conspiracy theory that Snowpiercer is a sequel to Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Sounds ridiculous but actually what he says is quite compelling. Worth a watch.
WHAT!? Hahaha wow I may have to react to this one then! That's insane, but looking back...could be possible for sure!
I love your review and elaboration at the end. That made me realize things. Thank you!
Such a dark fucking movie with some really hopeful rebellious moments.
"The willy Wonka man" ITS TRUE
YUP! Did a reaction on the conspiracy! Crazy right??
Bro it is so crazy going back and watching these older ones, its been a fucking great journey with you having someone on YT that is so passionate about the little things man. You are so dope, wish I could dap u up. Here's a virtual dap up, and hope you're having a great day
Hahahaha my guy! Virtual dap all day 🤘🏽
Since I also happen to have ur attention, where's that 40 min video on Vagabond at man? Stop playing
First video of yours I've seen now. Great work man! Was extremely surprised you only had around 800 subs. You totally deserve so many more.
Ah thank you Josh! It’s been growing pretty well now thanks to you guys supporting me. This really means a lot, glad to have you in the community brother!
For some reason this is the first movie reaction of his i can find??
I came across your channel last night and have been catching up on all your videos. Absolutely loving it and I have subbed! Keep it up!!
Happy to have you Joshua!!
Starring Chris Evans in this movie about a train during the massive freeze and a train that plows through the snow and ice kept in charge by the mysterious conductor who you have to literally fight your way through to meet him
I was debating if I wanted to watch it or not but after your reaction I am definitely watching it. Enjoyed listening to your thoughts on the movie and talking about each shots/scenes.
Sandeep Patel that’s really good to hear!! Just finished reacting to Uncut Gems so stay tuned for that today. Snowpiercer was such an awesome movie! Highly recommend it! 🎥✨
Nice reaction mate, subscribed, looking forward to more!
That means the world, cheers!!
This guy did parasite? No wonder it's so good. I was just channel surfing and watched 30 seconds and I was hooked.
Just found your channel. Great commentary, especially your point about Curtis testing Mason's reverence for Wilford as a god.
Lara happy you caught that! Thank you for comment!!
The old man is John Hurt who was the War Doctor
Chris Evans made another cinematic beauty of a sci fi film called Sunshine. Just before he carried the shield for the MCU. It’s a fantastic film by Danny Boyle and worth a view if you haven’t seen it.
Great shout, would love to see your reaction to Sunshine. Such a bizarre movie in some ways.
THANK YOU 4 THAT! ♥
Great video one of my favorite movies!
Thank you!! I can see why! Honestly this film looking at it now from a perspective of a filmmaker REALLY shows the passion of detail behind this. So well done!
3:30 I did NOT just hear you say willie wonka, before even hearing the prequel theory
Loved your commentary about how Tilda Swinton character is real on our society haha greetings from brazil
Great Video, Id love to see more reactions of popular movies you haven't seen
Thank you!! Stay tuned for later today! Have a really good one I did that I think you’ll really enjoy! It was a wild ride hahaha
I think i could listen to you talk about anything no lie lmao your comments are hilarious but spot on
Hahaha that's really good to hear, cause I literally be talking about anything xD
There's a show of this starring Daveed Diggs
Tilda Swinton ( Mason ) Amazing actress. Check out " We Need To Talk About Kevin "
still my fav movie of all time
If you liked the surreal dystopian vibe, may I recommend Brazil. It's completely insane.
I shall definitely check that out!! Thanks for the recommendation Owen!
“Don’t fight it, son - confess, quickly! You hold out too long it might affect your credit rating!”
Now that you've seen the movie, u should check out the series. It airs on TNT if you got cable or HBOMAX if u got it-it's a prequel series
The silent man is Bong Joon Ho who directed the best picture winner Parasite
subscriber #132. really enjoyed your attention to detail, especially to the production and setting! this movie is awesome and awful at the same time. a real masterpiece
Thank you!! This means everything to me. Yes, I’m super amped others enjoy my inputs during the reaction. Since I’ve worked on films and sets trust me...I will definitely appreciate good set designs!
17:30 it's the show runner of the truman show
The best leader is the one who doesn't want it
"The willy Wonka man" !!!! so ture!
Right!? Who would've thought hahaha!
Gotta be honest,
from the thumbnail
I thought this was Jean Dawson reacting to movies.
Lepra Krahn Lmfaooooo it’s a close match
Excellent film. Very good video!
Thank you very much!! That means a lot to me!
I really enjoy your content . You always have an interesting view of movie making. I would like to suggest the original " Jacob's Ladder " .
I'd love to see your reaction to The Host, or Parasite by the same director.
A great movie and a great video bro
Cheers my friend! Happy you enjoyed it!
The young man is Jamie Bell who you would know as Tin Tin
One of my favorite films, off the top of my head, top 20, maybe top 10 to be honest.
Love this film. Unfortunately, it was one of the last casualties of the Weinstein Company. Bob and Harvey refused to market it as anything but an art house film because of the international cast and the high concept of it all. Good riddance to those shmucks.
Damn there are so many heavy moments in this film lol
Would highly recommend watching and reacting to Parasite if you haven't. The writing and cinematography is amazing. I'd love to see what you have to say about it!
Interesting too how the richest section, the engine section, basically had a sweat shop running, using the children of the poorest of the poor to keep their monopoly running.
Sup hermano!
I think the picture also proposes an interesting provocation: that maybe it's not about who is running the engine, maybe it's about blowing up the whole fucking thing and starting anew, beside the uncertainties that it may bring.
Also an Interesting parallel could be made in between the train itself and the capitalist white/eurocentric model that rules our society.
Also the movie is a adaption of a french graphic novel, which is a pretty good read e goes in depth into some themes the film wasn't able to.
Been really enjoying your videos, love from South America bro!
Sub 107, see you at 100k brother you're gonna blow up 🙌
Hahaha you give me too much credit! I'm trying haha! Thank you for subbing!
Ty
Wilbur is played by Ed Harris
I would recommend to watch Train to Busan
dude your voice has changed so much since this lol
Tilda Swinton is amazing in this.
you and brandon have a very very similar style of videos. good luck
Thank you! Yeah I’ve recently seen his videos as well and funny enough we uploaded the same movie at the same time. (Mine was before his muhahaha) but yes I commented to someone above about this. This style is honestly best for me so that I can share my commentary along with scenes from the film without the videos really getting taken down. I want to add value and insight and that format is the best way for me to do it justice!
bong rips for Bong
20:57 what pandemic?
Hey Mate would love to see you react to Rob Zombie's movie from 2003, A House of a 1000 Corpses!
then the polar bear just eats them so they escaped for nothing. THE END
you should watch westworld if you haven't seen it
You’re right a lot of this movie applies to today...except the people rebelling are the evil and bad people.
what was that now?
@@phaedrespencer3652 the BLM and rioting are radicals but the ones who protested peacefully I respect. This came out when people were burning down cities and looting small businesses but it was “ok.” Reality is it was a major over reaction and they only hurt themselves
he kinda sounds like chandler
Watch parasite
Please react to Train to Busan
Please for the love of god react to Birdman!!!!
You gonna watch "Joker"?
React to rushmore
Watch Parasite!
Why my man acting like he Bob ross
I remember having this movie hyped up and being really into it until the first car with 100 people just standing around waiting to fight them and brain just short circuited and the rest of it was just dumb and it didn't make any sense, especially within the world of the movie itself and I just hated it all the way. Sure, tons of great individual aspects to the movie itself but the story and immersion just shattered for me .
5:54 news is Propaganda
come on dude don't copy and paste brandon likes movies i get your trying to grow but this is not the way.
Hey brotha! Never intended to copy haha. I actually uploaded before his but some insight on this just in case this gets brought up again. This style in my opinion is the best way to approach reacting/video commentary while not getting copy write slammed at the same time! Never intended to copy. He's awesome! Just think this is the best way for me to add context while reacting so it's not just me staring at a screen xD.
Your not a filmmaker lol your probably a wannabe rapper
LMAO. I’ll have you know that I’m nasty on the tracks too. But I’ll stick to the films. Thanks for the feedback? 😂
