Σε απόσταση περίπου 30 λεπτών από τη Μονεμβασιά, το μικρό λιμανάκι του Γέρακα, κρατά φυλαγμένο στο εσωτερικό του ένα από τα πιο όμορφα μυστικά της φύσης. Το μοναδικό «φιόρδ» της Ελλάδας βρίσκεται εδώ, κρυμμένο μέσα στην ομώνυμη λιμνοθάλασσα που αποτελεί και σημείο συνάντησης για αποδημητικά πουλιά και άλλα σπάνια είδη πανίδας. Ο γραφικός οικισμός του λιμανιού συμπληρώνει ιδανικά το τοπίο με έντονες αιγαιοπελαγίτικες πινελιές, μακραίωνη ιστορία και φυσικά, λαχταριστές θαλασσινές νοστιμιές στα γραφικά ταβερνάκια του.
At a distance of about 30 minutes from Monemvasia, the small port of Gerakas, keeps inside one of the most beautiful secrets of nature. The only "fjord" in Greece is located here, hidden in the lagoon of the same name, which is also a meeting point for migratory birds and other rare species of fauna. The picturesque settlement of the port ideally complements the landscape with intense Aegean touches, long history and of course, delicious seafood in its picturesque taverns.
