I have the orange colored unidose pump. when I turn the knob to prime it it used to just shoot out small doses of liquid. I'd let it shoot it out a couple times then close the valve and the line would start jumping. NOW....when I turn that prime knob lots of water just shoots out like a hose and when I close it the line does not start jumping. HELP?! What needs fixed?
There are 2 check valves in the pump, 1 in the foot valve and of course, the injection valve. Clean them all. Replace them if needed. The suction hose can develop tiny cracks that allow air in the pump. When in doubt change it out. The book for you pump has a troubleshooting section. What does it mean when you leave the prime knob open, and it still doesn't prime? Pump is less than a year old. Thanks.
