- Idaho pasture pigs or IPPs are a mix of duroc, Berkshire and kune kune pigs. They are docile and friendly but they also grow out a really good rate! We are loving them so much so far.

On your way dear, pigs look happy and healthy. Well done, oh and your daughter was just adorable!
Thank you!
Thanks for the info. We love our IPPs as well and I also liked the fact they do ok with kids around.
I don’t think I’ve talked to anyone who has raised IPPs that hasn’t liked them! They’re amazing
Glad you got into IPPs! Absolutely the best pig for pastured pork and small farms!
I 100% agree! I am absolutely in love
Very true--they can hurt people. My kids would always go out to the pig pen, my boys got brave and climbed the fence. They got too close for comfort and bit my oldest sons boot. They’ve never gone in the pen since and that was 3 years ago… thankful they learned quickly 🙌🏻 your daughter is a cutie!!!
Oh yea I’ve warned the kids many times! Thank you!
Very helpful, thank!! I'm researching IPP a little bit, comparing it to KK. I'm still leaning toward KK, but it was helpful to contrast them with IPP and know why!
I’m glad this helped! I absolutely LOVE our IPPs
You may want to consider a Dexter steer if you decide to raise a feeder steer.
I definitely am thinking about dexters
Try giving them a mineral treatment in their feed that is why they start to "root ' in the pasture
I do actually and even increased it. I think when the ground was so soft they just tore it up so easily
What is the mineral treatment?
We use nexgen 2090 by Kent I use their directions for mixing
