Great video I just wonder how you know where exactly to put the holes and how to make them symmetrical
the placing of the holes is completely up to you. I checked the Nike x Off White Dunk releases for reference of the hole placement.

I see that when you show the inside of the shoe, some have the inner eyelet piece, and some don’t. I ran into the issue with some areas being too thick to allow the two pieces to be “smashed together” as you described. Did you leave the inside bare? Do the outer eyelet pieces hold without them? Thanks!

Greats tutorial. Quick and to the point. The only critique I would have is the naming of the tools. You didn’t name all of them which isn’t that big of a deal but it would’ve been nice. Over all 9/10.

When it comes to the coffee dye does the brand of coffee matters?? And when you put shoes in washer do you put em in dryer or let em air dry?
I recommend using fairtrade coffee. And after washing the shoes in the washer I let them airdry. Make sure to not put them into direct sunlight when drying, otherwise the dyed effect might fade due to the sun.

I always recommend to use fairtrade coffee. It's good for the environment and also does not clump as cheap coffee, so the result will be more even.

Thanks for subscribing! This tutorial can most likely be used for any shoe, so I do not think I'll do it on an Air Force 1 anytime soon. Would rather do another tutorial on dyeing shoes or something similar :) Hope you understand!

The rivet didn't go through the back hole above nike check...should I use a longer rivet for the back half of the shoe because of the thickness of the cushion?
That happened to me first too. Then I tried it with another one and hammered them together and it worked. But using a longer one will help for sure as you mentioned the cushion is very thick on the ankle area.

in my opinion you can definitely dye the pink part of the shoes you mentioned. The black part would not change it's color obviously, but for the pink part it should be able to dye it so it get's darker. If that's the goal you can check if it's possible to dye each by each part, so you don't have to dye the whole shoe :) hope that helps! Cheers,

@@citizendan6390 Aceton to prepare the surface of the part you want to dye and you can use rit dye to dye the part (hot water!). Afterwards apply a sealer that secures the dyed part and youre good to go. No need for a tip. Throw me a sub and we're good! Good luck with it

With the rivets are u using washers on the rivets or just rivets alone?
Using just the rivets alone. Tried with washers in between, but did not hold together well enough.
