- In this game of Civ 6, we’ll be playing using a mod that gives us a slight overhaul for Wilhelmina in Civilization Six.
I say a slight overhaul. This mod has made it so that The Netherlands has access to an extra district, unit and cultural ability! That’s right, we’re building canals EVERYWHERE and then after that we’ll polderpolderpolderpolderpolderpolderpolder

Wouldn’t it be cool if the land created by placing a polder would count for the 3 land requirement for placing more polders next to them? It would mean you could completely fill smaller lakes with polders 😎

7:00 I always thought it was a bit of a shame that canals were so short, unless you use the Panama canal. I wish there had been a way to chain canal districts so they still connect two bodies of water (maybe limit the chain to 3 canal districts at once, or perhaps 2). Their full production cost would be accounted for, but you could build both canals in the same action.

Another Civ 6 series, 'm already feeling p-older.
The start was so frustrating that Salt was the only nearby Luxury resource, but it was there in abundance.
Also, can't wait for you to start pronouncing the weird "ui" and "ij" vowels, as I know not a single English word to use for comparison

Been a minute since I've seen a Polder game.
Since you were doing a bunch of wacky mods, another one to look at could be Infinite Civilization (I think that's close enough but maybe you used it to get the blank civ, I don't remember). It's an added civ that lets you select all your bonuses from the other civs in the game in the settings. You could get some very weird civs if you selected things at random.
Oh thank goodness the scary district thief is gone.

Last time I wanted to do a polder game myself in a Lakes map, Kupe spawned settled so many stupid cities that messed up my canal plans as well, then I ragequit.

Now that I've seen part 3 of this series, I can express my disappointment that it does not.

@@user-eh1gc7xo7q So when I first started watching Ursa Ryan, he said a few times that he was building Petra because the comments keep saying it's the best wonder. I decided to post a comment on each video regarding the University of Sankore as it's another desert wonder, but one that rarely gets built by players. After around 30 consecutive days of commenting, I decided to number them from then on.
I think people enjoyed the joke/meme of the University of Sankore here because I never did the same comment twice and always tried to do a new sentence or paragraph. I don't think I ever did the "Day X of asking Y" that you see occasionally in comment sections.
After 570/580 consecutive days of comments, I stopped watching Civ 6 content for a while as I wasn't enjoying it as much. Even now, I only watch occasional runs instead of every run. Hence why the University of Sankore comments are only found on some videos now instead of every video. The above comment would be the 610th comment.

You could see the Amani portrait next to the city label of Bandar Brunei before you assigned yours there, why act surprised another civ got there first?

Idk how much of this series is already recorded but just in case, Grachts can be placed adjacent to one another unlike regular canals
Also I might have missed you noticing later, but Grachts don’t give a major adjacency bonus to industrial zones - they give a bonus to theater squares, commercial hubs, farms & polders though
i can confirm they do in fact give IZ adjacency as they still cound as regular canals

For the 'radio orange' ability, does it provide a culture point for incoming trade routes as well? On that note, I feel that the game has made incoming trade routes completely opaque; invisible for analysis.
