The Kriegsmen crawling to the detonator while burning to death definitely earned his place beside The Emperor. Only in death does duty end.

I love how monstrous it shows the orks here. they are one of, if not the most pressing threat in 40K, and they earn that title
the nids are THE biggest threat.

I just like the way that the sniper immediately starts moving to a new spot after making the shot, something that real-life modern militaries drill into their soldiers.

He obviously did it to keep up with the team. This is a sniper that is supporting the team so it makes no sense for him to stay behind where he's useless. The tactic you are talking about is used in different scenarios.

What they did was train dogs to run below tanks as soon as they heard the whistle.
The ideas was that the dog would be sent near enemy tanks, then hide below them only for the handler to blow up a remote explosive charge.
The problem was that dogs would run below any vehicle, most often their own tanks, and soldiers quickly realized what the plan was an began shooting enemy dogs.
At least it was a more sound idea than strapping cats to bombs dropped by planes on the sea, in which the theory was that cats don't like water, so they would somehow steer the bomb away from water and into the enemy ships. Now how a 2-4kg cat would steer a 100 or more kg bomb that had no steering mechanism is unclear.

When Bricky says that the Orks are "entirely a comic relief", this is the side of them he forgets about. A tide of giant, green brutes with no concept of empathy, who will tear you limb from limb in boredom, like a man would pluck a flower.
Orks are mainly comic relief in the video games. In novels that don't sanitize things as much we see orks enslaving people, slaughtering civilians, and otherwise being anything but funny.

He doesn't forget that he embraces their comedic side because that's more fun.
These are the Kriegsmen done justice! I can't wait to see more in the future with more Guard regiments (like the Indigar Praefects)!

I like how the Kreigsmen are missing so many shots while under pressure, Hollywood has heavily skewed how accurate the average soldier is in combat. Accuracy on the range is one thing, the targets don't shoot back or charge you with an axe the size of your torso. Many Kriegsmen may come out of vats, but they are still otherwise normal human beings, not supersoldiers that know no fear and aim with rapid, mechanical precision.
Even a Kriegsman feels fear, as they don't want their sacrifice to be meaningless.

This is a prime example of why while a space marine could tear me limb from limb, I fear the Krieg more if I were their enemy, because no matter how many get slaughtered, they will just keep coming until they win.
I like how the Krieg don’t hesitate, show no fear and just press onward

The way always show someone dying directly after making a kill and then the one that got them also dies in return really shows how expendable they all really are…
Why its called Kill Team. Each mission is a behind enemy lines suicide mission.
The kriegsman that detonated the bomb while on fire deserves some respect
There are Two kind of point vierw: the funny fight for the orks and the One Who see them as bloodthirsty Monster, the funny part Is that they have both right
We laugh at how Orks tape some explosives on a squig and then we realize how horrible is to have a small suicidal creature running at full speed towards you. The only difference between Orks and the other factions in 40K is that they are the only ones that do it just for funsies and giggles.
We'll need another Ork killteam someday ;)
I hope there's a video game that is all about the Death Korps. We need a game with them.
I think my favourite revelation for this video is that even if the Orks didn't show up, all of the Guardsmen would have died when the demo trooper pushed the plunger anyway.

@@officialwarhammer Could be but he already had both hands on the plunger and had to drop it to go for the rifle. Doubt he trained extensively on "interrupt detonation to defend self".

Why did the guardsmen with the rifle run forward to fight but not the guy with the chainsword?
if the guy with the chainsword runs forward he'll be in the crossfire of the rifleman
The guy with the chainsword was the sergeant - rifleman was trying to protect his leader (and kriegers are more than willing to die)
