To any real rugby fam who watched those Drua vs Aussie SR teams, it was very clear that the officiating was skewed to the favour of the Aussie teams. The match vs the Rebels and the one vs Reds were the worst. There's a level of stupidity that goes with the slanted officiating. One has to be really stupid to think that people wouldn't notice anything odd with the fact that the NZ SR sides who were dominant over the Aussie teams lost matches against the very same Drua who couldn't win against Aussie SR teams.
If there was a coach of the tournament award, I think that this guy should be in the reckoning. He was brilliant in what was a tough post-match press conference after the Wales game. And he was very calm and humble in this one also. Such a great representation of the Fiji Nation. He was even talking up EJ. Now that must have been hard.

for me the biggest thing to take out of this game is that the Fijians could have let the Wales loss affect them, but they did not, they focused on this game, only thought about this game, and the result is a really clinical dismantling of the Aussie team. Yes, not free flowing, fast Fiji that we know, but this bodes well for a Fijian team that can really say they are climbing into the elite bracket of teams in world rugby. I hope other teams like Samoa and Tonga can also see this victory as a stepping stone for them to also push hard to be seen as not "also ran" teams, but serious contenders for honors on the world stage. Rugby can only get stronger if the pacific teams, along with the likes of Uruguay push forward hard. Congrats Fiji, you deserved this victory, from a proud springbok supporter who also supports the growth of the game beyond the traditional powers of the sport.

Vinaka coach for working on our national team's weaknesses. Hope this knowledge will be passed down to our provisional coaches so we can grow our player depth. This will give healthy competitions for our Drua team, which will flow onto our national team. All in all, it was an awesome team effort. 👏

Fiji has a nice pack of forwards playing well which has won them the game. Keep Korovuli kicking and get the line outs sorted. Too much turnover at line outs. For the backline - keep the ball in hand and keep the passing simple please 😀
I would love to see Fiji in the Rugby Championship! it would be great for Fiji and the rest of the Pacific islands! If you look at how its benefited Argentina. Additionally it would make traveling down to the Oceania area even more worth it!
