Would the same apply to a 2016 A7? The part I'm finding 8K0905217C doesn't say it's for an A7 or A6. Did you have a different part number?

The console isn’t wrapped. That’s an OEM S6 carbon fiber console. I have not fully removed it to date.

I picked it up off of Amazon. Having a hard time finding it now.
i have one where its like a sticker
Yeah, they all kind of look like a sticker, and that causes them to peel. When you replace the start stop button, it provides a like new appearance.
