I think with the opaqueness it's different on clear fake nails (being more sheer and needing more coats) than it is on a natural nail (needing less coats). Just something I've noticed over the years and learned from my friend who's a nail tech.
Ahh I love Christine and Safiya and the Fact that one of my fav youtuber Tina also loves them makes my heart so happy ❤
I love that most of these are the jelly polishes. Very different shades than jellies usually are, but the jelly formula really adds depth and dimension especially when the shimmers are added. They arent just on the surface, because its jelly, you see all layers of it. Definitely adds that extra ghosty sort of thing.
I love all of these, but Spirit Fingers is my favorite.

The spirit fingers polish is so haunting. It almost look like a dead eye. It's so pretty I love it so much.
Spirit fingers is definitely the most unique shade I've ever seen so it's my favorite.
I would love to see a cute colletion with Tina and Holo Taco. Christine really loves bright colors, but I would love to see a collection with pastel pink polishes and little flower glitter or something like that. That would be so cute!

My favorite is the Berry Me in Halo!!
I love how she used so many different light settings and showed us each coat of polish individually. Feeling Fiendish and Berry Me Holo were definitely cute colors. I also like the teal one. ❤
I love that Tina is playing around with regular nail polish, I like her gel polish videos too but for some reason it just hits different
I haven't tried anything from Holo Taco yet, but they restocked a few things from this collab so I ordered the nail file, Feeling Fiendish and Berry Me in Holo, as well as a base coat and top coat from the brand. I don't usually do my nails, but I love Safiya and I love Simply Nailogical, so I definitely wanted to try a couple of things from this collection. I think Berry Me in Holo is the shade I'm most excited for.
the Berry me in Holo is amazing. it applies so smoothly and dries quickly, def one of my personal favorites from the collection
My daughter bought me the glass file. I'll never use anything else again.
My fave color was the sparkly pink 💖 and I loved the nail art 😊
PS: the finger for the nail polish swatches creeped me out 😅
brucie is my favorite of the collection! All of the shades are quite subtle looking indoors, but the moment you step outside into sunshine they are stunning! Brucie actually has some copper that pops in the sunlight! 🤩 Bat B*tch is a very fine shimmer, but there are moments where a bigger chunk reflects the light. I find the subtleness of the shimmer to feel kinda elegant!
I did a gradient with Bat B*tch, Brucie, and Featured Guest (a white linear holo) it was an easy way to do nail art!
I got mine last week!!! So happy! I now have 28 holo taco polish’s ❤ the only thing I treat myself with.
I’m in love with the combos you can do with the jelly polish’s

Three of my favorite CZcamsrs in one video?! Count me in! I got the bat b*tch bundle in that 20 minutes and I’m obsessed with all of the polishes. Bat B*tch is my favorite but Spirit Fingers is just so unique that I can’t help but gravitate towards it.

If you do a Frenchie and put only 1 coat of Spirit Fingers it'd look soo good.
My daughter wanted these so bad she had me log in and buy them the minute they dropped since she was on a cross country flight and didn't want to miss the collection. Btw the bats on top of glow in the dark polish are off the chart awesome
This is the first time I’ve bought Holo Taco and I’m so impressed. My nails always flake off almost immediately but my manicure is like 4 days and counting now, no smudges or chips. ❤

I mean this brand says "2-3 coats" I think on all their polishes so this checks out. Also these nails are clear and normal nails are opaque so there is that to consider. And I would consider maybe adjusting your lights cause it kinda washes out all the glitter. good that you tried it on your regular nails too.
I think Bat B🦇ch first coat kinda gives the smoky look especially for Halloween for those who are afraid of Gel this regular nail polish would work nicely.
Personally, i'm afraid of trying Gel because I don't know how to remove it and don't want to risk of damaging my nails.
The ones that aren't opaque in the first coat are supposed to be more like jelly nailpolishes
For those that are sheer I think that you need to apply a solid black color underneath first and then add them on top for holo and sparkles to really pop...

I think the reason they looked a bit sheer was because of the fake nail being completely transparent

I don't think you're supposed to shake and then apply immediately afterwards... (it causes bubbles), but other than that, I had to hold back these past couple of collections due to $. 😭

@@jordan180 I figured it would be like that since Safiya is massive. I'm in NZ so for the first drop I set an alarm for 3am and bought the bundle on drop. It sold out in 20 minutes so I'm glad I did.
