Karen Noble I am a huge Sylvie Guillem fan, but gosh, that was over 30 years ago and I would imagine dancers are getting tired of the constant comparison. I think it goes without saying that her Grande Pas with Legris was the gold standard bearer.

Spectacular dancers, to say the least, but I can't stand the camera moving every 4 counts, chopping off pirouettes and steps in the middle. I couldn't see even one full musical phrase without the camera hopping around. I hope next time they get somebody who knows how to film ballet.
Was going to say this if no one else did! Oddly, the other Dance Open version of this with Vika Tereshkina has somebody editing with a fairly good eye for the movement. Sarafanov's brisees voles were obviously excellent, as were his big sisonnes in the coda and I was getting seasick from the editing. Oksana looks totally miserable in the variation (sorry, not technically but her energy looks like OMG I hate this piece so much). Can't fault the coda, though!

Руки бы поотрывать за такой монтаж видео, смотреть невозможно, кадры скачут как блохи. Но Сарафанов и Скорик прекрасны, как всегда.

Very clever, but too arrogant for me, and I don't think they work well together at all. Noticeable editing.
Sarafanov is ultra super good, I admire always! But the danseuse look like is angry.

personally l don't like her at all .but for misterious reasons she is principal in mariinsky ballet so yes should be more than happy -
Too much edition, like I was blinking all the time. Good dancer but really I can't enjoi it.
I much prefer Sylvie Guillam, Marc Legris and their elegance in this ballet

Guillem and Legris (Manuel) were indeed exceptional. But as per the comment below, tastes differ and it comes down to personal preference. Skorik and Sarafanov are no less exceptional - beautiful performance.
@@elizzy8754 yes, it is also a beautiful performance and yes, tastes and personal preferences differ. But in some cases the dancers are truly born dancers and it comes through and go as the top ones into history.

Orchestra is horrible poor sarafanov solo was so fast he was trying so hard to keep on it you couldn’t notice his precision
