I love how area 69 is supposed to be this hidden mysterious place but its right there in the open next to the civillian roads.
Thats why the original game has fog so it blocked the players and people from seeing it

When sneaking into a well-guarded and alert, heavily armed top secret military base to steal an expensive and valuable piece of military equipment is an easier mission than flying an RC-helicopter.
Especially if you played supply lines on ps2. The hardest thing to do. So hard that it took me a month or more just to complete the goddamn mission
I’ll sneak into Area 69 any day over those goddamn missions.

They removed the item pickup sound. It was cool. Also the jetpack thrusters arent moving anymore
Also the minigun barrel doesn't rotate anymore

And now ascend is on lmb and descend is on rmb so when you want to aim you automaticly go straight down, and when you want to shoot your gun you cannot ascend. This game just keeps getting worse.

One of the best Stealth missions in SA, it's cool seeing CJ take down a secret military base down just to get a jetpack for a hippie
It was 20 years ago. Jet pack back then was so cool and totally worth it to kill them all military.

The mission that blew my mind. It wasn't just a crime game anymore, it was truly next-level stuff. More or less started my interest in ufology too.
Best mission in GTA history hands down!.....This is why I love san andreas the most, the variety of missions is unmatched
I agree. San Andreas has the most variety of missons. In this game we can break into military base and steal a jetpack, rob a mafia casino, take over hostile gang's teritories and even steal a combine. On the other hand, most missions in gta 4 for example are go/kill somebody/lose the police/go back to me. That's why i like San Andreas so much, too.

I liked Gta 4 but something about it makes me even forget it exists and yeah it does give me that depressing vibe and just makes me wanna go back and play Gta San Andreas and Gta Vice city. I Think Gta 5 did a great job in giving us a way better tone than 4. Like milesss better!

I don't like truth and after you beat the game he's just shows up in the ending cutscene after you kill smoke this is one of the worst missions in the game

The jetpack just didn't want to move in the direction I wanted it to when I got through the hole, after about 20 attempts it randomly let me leave the area but the jet pack was clearly broken as it was moving slow and automatically started to raise itself up when near a high structure whilst trying to get to the goal, the trophy felt good afterwards though

This mission made no sense to me with the “Truth” getting CJ to go to the military base to steal a jet pack even though CJ didn’t know wtf he was getting for the Truth without the gameplay telling us. Now had this been Mike Toreno ordering and guiding CJ in the base to steal the jet pack that would’ve made sense storywise.

Really relaxing to watch
Just so people know (unless this was bugged at the time of this video airing on CZcams), DO NOT shoot spotlights because if you do it, I believe twice the alarm will be raised anyway so that's why they aren't being shot in the video, the game tells you to do that but all you would be doing is screwing yourself over.

anyone dealing with the jetpack veering in weird directions: change your gameplay settings to Modern. this will prevent the controls from recognizing the jetpack as a vehicle and trying to “look right” or “look left” when you use RB and LB.
the problem is LEAVING in the jet pack. i get shredded to zero hp and by the time i’m outside it won’t even fly anymore please help

Before completing the black project mission and the vertical bird mission, you have to cancel the missile launch system so as not to be killed.

How many people know that if CJ is fat then game triggers an alternate cutscene where TRUTH hide on a barrel peeps us by saying on the phone we are not fit for the mission so the game/TRUTH says to lose the weight it was really a rare thing still very few people know.
I know 'cuz I was dating Barbara and she likes fluffy CJ. I started the mission and Truth told me I was too fat. 😆
@@j.barnard2669 yeah Barbara that girl on the driving school i actually never dated her but for 100% i did & it's worth it I mean if we play without cheats then her services by having monster truck then having free repair car stuff is good also she is the only girl who likes to drive so she drive the car for us it's pretty unique & relaxing just enjoy the ride.
@@haarisajmeri9811 Barbara is the Sheriff. She gets you out of jail for free and you keep your weapons. Michelle likes a fluffy CJ also. She's actually my favorite. Love it when she wants to drive. I'll confess that I kill most of the girlfriends after reaching 100% with them 'cuz they're annoying. My bad.

Is anyone on xbox and having trouble with the jetpack controls? It says hold rb to ascend but it drifts to the right and when you hold lb to descend it drifts to the left its so annoying 😒
I had this same issue. Turns out, I had my controls set to modern alt, I switched it back to modern and it fixed it. Idk if that'll work for you or you beat it by now...

This mission is so fucking shit. I had low HP before getting the jetpack and when i respawn to the checkpoint it will keep the low help. It's literally impossible to get away

Stealing chain gun and a jet pack from the labs. This mission was an inspiration for Jetpack Joyride for sure.
So when I try to use a jet pack in this mission it keeps him veering to the right and won’t fly up any suggestions???

Used to low key hate this mission as a child, because I thought you HAVE to wear the goggles. Also at that point had no idea how those worked IRL so that was a majorly dissapointing headache inducing experience
