Visited this area on the banks of The Mekong River.
Booked a boat trip the short trip was ฿500 and the longer trip ฿1,000 they will stop for you to take some photos but we declined as we been there before. You can buy refreshments at this location in the few shops and stalls there.

The river looks like it has plenty of flow at the moment, Toi and I did a 2 day trip on the Mekong from Luang Prabang in Laos to Huay Xai in Laos a little over v12 years ago with an overnight stay around 1/2 way, interesting trip, but it's one of those did that not doing it again things. I made a video about it called Two days on the Mighty Mekong
