Can you use an iron for sublimation?

    The ghosting comes from moving the iron to-and-fro instead of keeping it stationary. Moving the iron smudges moist ink and causes smudges (ghosting). Uneven pressure from an unsteady hand can cause smudging of hot moist gaseous ink which migrates from the carrier into the medium. Hand irons work for narrow or small emblems, but not for large graphics, or you can spoil a good shirt or costly fabric.

    Hello thanks for the test I'm new to sublimation, I didn't think it was going to come out that good..
    I just recently bought a small heat press 9x12 so it's good for 8 and 1/2x11 sheets"
    Looks like the iron might work for touch-ups or small designs though"
