- Have you ever wondered if there are any differences between Asub and Koala sublimation paper? In this video, I test to see if one paper performs better than the other.

Hey everyone! Welcome to my channel! My channel is all about crafting on a budget. I do sublimation and sewing videos. Thank you for joining my CZcams family. - Jak na to + styl
Thank you for showing us these two products. I think the Koala paper released more of the ink into the fabric. I'm going to try some on tumblers and see if the release is better than the ASub I am currently using. Thanks again !!
You’re welcome. I was pleasantly surprised by it.
I agree with you. Koala does look better. I have been using Asub, but will try Koala once finished with my Asub supply. Thank you for comparing them for us.
I have been using Asub for a long time but I was definitely pleasantly surprised by Koala. You should definitely try it out.
I think the Koala released more ink. Where is the link for the Koala paper, please?
Sorry, here is the link amzn.to/3SV4j04
I just stumbled across your videos and I am enjoying them. Thank you for sharing your knowledge, talent and keeping it straight to the point!
The color certainly appears to be more vivid. That being said I didn't know much at all about sublimation. Does the paper weight have anything to do with it?
Also, I'm looking to upgrade from 15x15 heat press. Can you recommend one that's good but not too expensive? Thank you
The weight does affect things. The heavier the weight, the more it will hold the ink and saturate your substrate. With that being said, some printers do not do well with heavier weight paper. I like to stay around 120gpm. In regards to heat press, I really like the heatpress nation heat presses. They have a 16x20 that is $499.95 which isn’t too bad. I haven’t really used any other brand heat presses. It’s definitely an investment but I’ve had mine for about four years and have never had a problem with it.
