The last book will just be one gargantuan Sanderlanche; burying the world in tied-off plot threads and climactic speeches and long awaited reunions and a hint for another work in the series tossed in because the man knows no respite.
Not intending to be dismissive, but 6+3+1=10=5+5 Same amount of books! Would be a fun way to re organise the series. Probably not what he’s doing though.

I've gone through all of the mistborn books, Elantris, and warbreaker. Today, I started my stormlight archive journey. These books are beautiful, and I can't wait to experience the work they bring to life
This is likely the bare minimum runtime acceptable to fit in all the things. At least 11 hours. Anything less and we would end up with something like WoT...

I am SO glad Sandy became a novelist instead of a biochemist, he's hands down one of the best authors ive ever had the pleasure of reading. I hope he goes down in history as one of the greats like Terry Pratchett, because he absolutely deserves it
Also I love the fact that Sanderson says that he was going to be a scientist makes so much sense! I’ve always loved how scientifically believable as possible he’s made his stories; it was one of my favorite things besides his characters.
I like how over the last 2 years Brandon has been telling fans that his only focus is Stormlight 5 and that he wasn't working on anything else. We can never trust him again.
During the original Secret Projects reveal he said "I've been lying to you" can't see why it would be any different now 😭 Also, I've never been happier to be lied to :)

You know. I have read, a lot of different cosmere novels over the years, but the novels of the Stormlight Archive probably touch me the most on an emotional level. I’ve probably shed more tears while reading those books than any others and I think it’s because I care so much for the characters. I got lightweaver as well, with willshaper a close second. I do like the lightweaver order because of Shai in the emperor's soul. She's still the most relatable character to me, even after all these books. But i didn't find Shallan relatable, even though i like her quite a bit. I do so love that complexity and introspection. I myself am quite a bit more solid though. Even as i keep discovering new things about myself, it doesn't change my sense of self.

Along with my continuous inability to place my order despite having read stormlight three times as a good indicator of my being a light weaver. Not to mention the various comparisons to Hoid my cosmere aware friends have made. Coupled with my general love of writing and deceptive cunning characters.
There are many things I like about Brando Sando : his imagination, writing, passion, magic systems, characters, the facts that he writes quickly and likes to surprise us with secret projects. I also love that he tries to do things differently, and better for everyone (for instance, him pushing against Audible for the benefice of all writers). But, I'm also certain of one thing : he'll never have an Oscar for best actor. Acting is one thing he's not good at, but kuddos for trying :D

I stumbled upon your books by accident in a CZcams short and thought “huh this Way of Kings book seems pretty awesome” I have been sucked in since the preface. I want to compliment you because you got a severe dyslexic to rip through your books at a pace of about a storm light book every 2 weeks until I was caught up. At least a couple, come on! (hehe, with this many guesses at least one of them gotta land. Beside ftl, no way we won't see nothing about ftl in this one xD)

To be fair, it would be a lot of time and expense to upgrade or increase the servers, for one guy. And, while he's likely to do more there in the future, it's just not feasible. Setting up a proper log-on queue, though, would have done a lot to help
@@KuraiLunae I don't know what Backerkit's cut is of each deal but I'm assuming it will amount to a lot for this crowdfunding as it will break their own records. They should be using this as a selling point for their service, but it looks bad to potential future customers. Having the guy who did the largest Kickstarter ever move to your platform is a big deal. Ultimately I don't think it will change much for Brandon's team unless there are troubles in the backend.

@@KuraiLunae I don't know what Backerkit's cut is of each deal but I'm assuming it will amount to a lot for this crowdfunding as it will break their own records. They should be using this as a selling point for their service, but it looks bad to potential future customers. Having the guy who did the largest Kickstarter ever move to your platform is a big deal. Ultimately I don't think it will change much for Brandon's team unless there are troubles in the backend.

Brandon, I completely agree with you. Agency is central to the stories and characters we love. When a character embodies a unique and fascinating worldview, like my ultimate favorite character, Lift, and drives the narrative forward with that outlook, it creates compelling storytelling.
BackerKit down at a launch. This is why Kickstarter is used by so many I'd wager. Years to build the infrastructure up and experience popular launches.
