I think some motorbikes are joint ventures, domestically produced in Vietnam, not all are produced in Thailand.
Yes, I think some are made here, but this shop sells unusual bikes, and I think they import them from other ASEAN countries.

Real classic Vespas are expensive even back in the day 2000s 😂 i know cause my uncle own one and even back in those day they are expensive ; with the current income it must be crazy high ; seeing how some folk willing to pay hundred of thousand dollar for a fk tree

@ThrealQ2. Far fewer people have A2 licenses, so I supposed bigger bikes are less popular, but bigger bikes are usually more expensive. The price looks correct, however.
@@VietnamEli They take up a lot more room so parking them up would be a hassle i reckon. Better for touring on, but commuting locally, too cumbersome

The dealer is what we call in the USA a multi-line dealer. Almost like a broker in the investment world where he can sell you anything. Usually , in the States, these guys have the best prices and are on the edge of the knowledge of the business. Good stuff.
Yeah, I bought a bike from a dealer like that back in the US, but here in Vietnam, they’re not so common. Usually it’s a Honda store, a Yamaha store, a Suzuki store, etc.
In taiwan there are more and more electric bikes. The gogoro electric in Taiwan rocks, looking forward to seeing it in vietnam

Without rewatching the video, I doubt they have liter bikes. Those are usually sold (new) by brand specialists, like Ducati, HD, Kawasaki, etc. This is more of a general public type shop with more affordable machines.

I just saw a video 3 foreigners caught speeding 79km/hr at the speed limit of 50, and each pay $35 usd, so it is USD $105 for the 3, Is it too much. In Thailand, I just pay $3.5 USD. speeding at 180km/hr.

Yes, but you need to convert it to a Vietnamese license, which is a simple process. Just get it translated, then fill out a form, pay 135,000 VND. One week later you get a Vietnamese license.

It's very expensive to import a bike, and a lot of hassle, not only getting it through customs but then getting it registered. If it's not officially sold here, it's a bad idea.

Are there 'cc' size limits in Vietnam?
As far as licensing, no. An A2 license is good for >175cc, but doesn’t set a maximum. I’m not sure if there’s an import or sales restriction though.
