  • High on the Mendip plateau, a fifteen-minute drive through the lanes from Rob's forest garden, lies Sharon's newly established, one-acre food forest.
Inspired by Rob's design, planned by Adam Croft, and implemented by Sharon herself, Rob returns to show us around this edible landscape, a mix of new & old, and very much a work in progress (like any garden!)
Rob is fortunate enough to be able to work here once a week at the moment, using his hard-earned trial-and-error agroforestry knowledge to help Sharon's vision come to fruition.
In this video Sharon herself features and chats to Rob about her inspiration and vision for the project.
Presented and recorded by Rob Handy.

Hello Rob and Sharon, lovely to see your goings on in the garden and yet again the clever idea with the labels on the bamboo canes! Not done mine this time but will do this next year. How lovely to see a russet apple tree growing! I loved the taste of these as a child! Would a russet grow in a clay soil do you think? Thanks for video xx

How wonderful to have a food forest. It would be so interesting to be there at each season to see the changes happening around the plants.

Thank you for yet another informative video. This walk-through of Sharon's food forest pantry made me wonder what her favourite recipe with each of the foods presented. Could you do that Rob, add a complimentary link to a file of her favourite recipes, as if you don't have to do already lol.
