She's entitled to her opinion, but to call Trump "an embarrassment to good guys" seems like a bit of an over-reach. He's clearly no saint, but he has routinely placed women in powerful jobs at his company, and seems to love and appreciate Melania very much. His kids all clearly love him, and who can really say that now when so many kids would just as soon kill their parents? Yes, he often comes across as an egotistical blowhard, but I don't think he's the monster that the mass media paints him to be. His biggest problem at the moment seems to be his Twitter rants, but that doesn't disqualify him from being President.

He's a scuzbag and an embarrassment to good guys. I'm terrified for my daughter's future bc of the effect and impact he's having on today's male youth as a HORRIBLE role model. But I have told her, if she finds herself in a situation with sn unwelcome penis to twist it like it's a tub faucet. My dad said sometimes the only thing that'll get through to some guys are a few swift kicks to the gents. Too bad Trump didn't receive any - he'd be a better human.

Bakersfield is indeed a crappy town, a hot mess. Not surprising she'd never been there. I've lived in LA for 20+ years and doubt I'll ever go there. I worked up in Lancaster and Palmdale which aren't far from there but Bakersfield is notoriously unspectacular.

The Clinton Foundation has been independently audited til it's black and blue and 90% goes to charity and projects and 10% to staff and administration.

I'm with ya, Vicki - yeah, Thelma "Mama" Harper was on the Bible Belt as a staunch old-world conservative, which is completely understandable. I would've been very surprised if Vicki, especially having worked so much in Hollywood and with Carol Burnett, would support a candidate and former POTUS with the morals of a sewer rat and who is now running as a convicted felon. Vicki is a VERY intelligent woman - a comedienne and if not an IQ genius, then definitely a comedic one. Infinite respect for her, I have and will always. But yeah, she played the "Republican" Thelma "Mama" Harper. She's infinitely correct in her assessment of Donald Trump - that it's surprising that he was the best one the party had to put forward. And the answer to that is because Trump is no more than a tool used by others who know they can get in on his grift. The Republican Party gave the keys to him and put him in the driver's seat, and now, the party is a hot mess. He is spineless, has no conscience, and doesn't fight any battles except with his mouth. His foot soldiers do all the stuff on his behalf but they actually go to prison, and become liabilities to society (if they weren't liabilities already.)

Donald Trump's administration had no accomplishments. He basically rode on the crest of a great and repaired economy of the Obama administration after a recession that lasted five long, painful years that I and most other Democrats HAVEN'T completely forgotten about. Even as long as 3 1/2 years ago after Biden's early days as POTUS stated objectively that Trump's total inattention to regulating futures contracts and hedging, and his near-total de-regulation of the "bigger business" world (slashing corporation taxation and letting the CEOs collect their profits while gouging customers) resulted in the inflation we're experiencing today. You think it's bad here as far as inflation? Try Europe, you wouldn't last a day. Your powder comment is just ridiculous...although at least one of Trump's sons is a snowblower from way back. It's okay. I'm sure she can afford to lose a myopic "fan" like you. Oh...and Trump is running in a third White House bid as the first-ever convicted felon to do so.
