The irony of kano is that the place that is called Kano city is the biggest ghetto of Kano town. It was the main city like 200 years ago. When the colonial masters came to Nigeria, they met only the old Kano city. But as civilization came and the Kano town got and is still getting modernize at other areas, the name of the old Kano city is still maintained. So when you come to Kano town and ask to see Kano city, you will be taken to an ancient ghetto that is more than 500 years old.
So with Zaria city.

With a caption like the one i proposed, many hausa people will be attracted to view this video because they will want to know what a foreigner thinks. But if you leave the caption like you wrote it, they will think it's a Nigerian that's is exploring kano and that is nothing special.

That's what made me watch and and I'm technically not "Nigerian" (although I have recently learned I have DNA from the there which has made me more interested in the whole region). Kano is impressive. Just need to be more clean and organized and hopefully we can return to using mud to build more residential and commercial buildings and even hotels. It will protect a proud identity and maybe encourage others to do the same
