- Second raid boss in the series of "Invincibles" in Borderlands 2. Two down, five to go! Hyperius is found in the Washburne Refinery near the back, and it costs 8 Eridium to open his door. He is a fairly difficult boss normally and EXTREMELY long fight if you attempt normally. Next up: Master Gee!

I watch a lot of BL2 videos cause I'm pretty obsessed with it but I find it frustrating sometimes knowing computer people can hack and fudge their way through the game while console players go straight legit for the most part. Just leave the area where you fight him (go back to the vending machines) and it should respawn him... unless they patched it or something recently. Thanks for watching!

I did my first solo hyperius yesterday and took me a couple of tries to get a technique down but on the third try i destroyed him! Thanks again for the video!
Yeah, that works as well and I've tried it a few times. However, it is kind of hit or miss and most of the time I die. This way is muuch quicker if you can get the technique down to a science. Thanks for the comment!
Awesome video, I was able to do this with the Bee shield and the sand hawk (took about half a dozen tries before I could line it up right).
However, how do you get him to respawn? By leave the area, do you mean leave washburne refinery completely?

FYI the first burst is avoidable. When you enter the arean there will be a pipe to your left hand side. Sneak behind it, shoot him once wait 2 seconds and you're good.

conkzilla it has a skill called bore for zero so it only does work on zero

I was playing on the PC version. The good news is I managed to get him to respawn! The bad news is I died to him and then I can't open the door again..I wonder if this is a bug or an anti farming method.

Does this trick still work? I've been trying it for some time now, but he never seems to take much damage from the shots that go through him, and I am eventually killed by him. I am level 64 and using a double penetrating unkempt harold.
Better using a dahl gun for burst, i used lv1 first gun on him at op8, 1shot success
which tree do I spec in? and how many in each one?
still can't make it in op 8 cause i can't tank 2 missiles.

U can kill him under 30 seconds with a powerfull bee or storm if u lob 8 to 9 bees at pipe in a radies they will lock to him and lower his health super fast before he puts up his shield

that sort of defeats the purpose of this video? It's meant for Zer0's b0re skill. gunzerker doesn't even have the skill required to penetrate.
throw a bunch near his feet right at the start, and a little pause between each one. then walk around to where the loaders are lined up and be further back so you hit the first one just as the pellets start to separate but make sure theyve done so only just. keep throwing a few more nades if needed to keep them there. I kno this comments old but for anyone else coming here.
