- it's a 20 day trip consisting of 350 km, 55 lakes, 6 rivers (3 of which is up stream travel) and 93 portages that add up to 68 km.!

That 2 second clip of Jake at Brent outpost at 2:42 kills me. I cant stop laughing. He's an absolute beauty, glad you got him in there. One of my favorite people, and not just in Algonquin. Good work Kevin. Great trip.

"We're on day 5 and we have... I don't even know how many more days left. It doesn't even matter." Love it. Wish I actually had time in my life.

Kevin is a tease. Wonder if his wife likes that? He posts part 1 of 5 and now we have to WAIT for the rest of the parts! Argghhhh... !! Take it as a compliment though, as that means we love these videos! Great job!
Excellent filming and editing Kevin, I see a Documentary in your future :))
Great editing on this one! Loved the trip, but way too long for my own aspirations. Looking forward to the rest of the trip log.
Good Job. Can't wait until it's my turn to suffer. Having wtached your series will certainly help ease the stress...of planning anyhow.

Alex Hurley was one of my highschool teachers!
Ok. My best spring fishing/camping lake is Radiant Lake. But.....times change. Now we’re down to 2 of us. Where to go now?
great video. was the tarp and bug screen your sleeping shelter or did you have a separate tent? what is the make and model of the tarp and screen.
Thanks
+ke5ufg It's from Eureka Canada. We brought a tent - but did sleep in the shelter a few times. It's an amazing piece of gear to bring on a spring trip
Great photage. And yes, whisky has a tendency making paddling a wee bit more enjoyable...doesn't it. .. :-). Thanks mate.
crazy crazy fools, canoeng & camping in cold weather. Loveable!! Did like your strip-teeze, Kevin . I agree with you on the effectiveness of wool, although I use silk for the underlay Yes I would travel with Kevin, Perhaps I should immigrate to Canada.
Andy works for the MNR with the Species at Risk Program. I think he just fakes writing in his journal to avoid camp chores - lol
Great stuff hey Kevin whats Andy's day job writer? Saw him note taking.

+Andrew Munford 16. We planned 20 but ended in 16
